Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of Osborne House is an adventure video game for the Nintendo DS handheld game console by Frogwares. It is the first in the Sherlock Holmes series to be made specifically for the DS.
Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of Osborne House places a heavy emphasis on puzzles, which the player solves using the stylus and touch screen. These largely take the form of minigames which include jigsaw puzzles, codes to decipher and paintings to examine. Each of these puzzles has its own difficulty settings and styles of gameplay. The game also features a help system which highlights important clues and guides the player in completing the puzzles. Solving the puzzle without the use of the help system awards the player with extra points and unlocks extras material and bonus puzzles.
The game takes place in large hand drawn environments from the Victorian era London which players can roam and explore, taking on side quests and optional missions. When they interact with the various characters in the game, players can request information and interrogate them. When these characters give the player a clue, Holmes will sketch it, forming a new puzzle.
When Queen Victoria's genealogical records are stolen, the royal family decides to put Sherlock Holmes in charge of the case and asks him to solve the strange mystery. Followed by Doctor Watson, Holmes use his senses of logic and observation through dozens of riddles, puzzles and brain teasers of all sorts. The investigation takes him to Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace and the British Museum, and along the way he meets many charismatic characters who helps him solve the strange case and finally discover the truth, including the question of why the royal family insists on keeping the case a secret.

Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of Osborne House received mixed to negative reviews from critics and user reviews. IGN gave it a poor score of 4.5. [1] Adventure Gamers rated the game 2.5 stars out 5, heavily criticizing the short length of gameplay with uninspiring puzzles, an uninteresting plot, repetitive music and lack of hints. They did praise the quality of the graphics and the quizzes included. [5]

Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy is an adventure game for Microsoft Windows, developed by Frogwares and released in 2002. The player controls Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes, as he investigates the mysteriously abandoned mansion of British archeologist Lord Montcalfe. It is the first in the Sherlock Holmes series of adventure games developed by Frogwares and Viva Media, and was ported to the Nintendo DS in 2009.
Professor Layton and the Curious Village is a puzzle adventure video game for the Nintendo DS system. It was developed and published by Level-5 in Japan and published by Nintendo worldwide. It was released in Japan in 2007 and worldwide the following year. It was re-released in Australia using the British English localisation and European artwork to replace the previously released North American localisation. Curious Village is the first game in the Professor Layton series, followed by Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. An enhanced mobile port of Curious Village featuring additional cutscenes, subtitled "HD for Mobile", was released in 2018.

It was followed by a third game, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. MySims Agents is a 2009 mystery life simulation video game published by Electronic Arts. The fifth instalment in the MySims series, it was released in Europe on September 25, 2009, and in Australia on October 5, 2009 for both the Nintendo DS and the Wii. It was slated for release on June 16 in North America for both consoles, but was instead released on September 29. In the Wii version, the player is tasked with solving several cases which help the player determine the evil plot of the game's antagonist, while unlocking additional features which are essential to completing the game. For the DS version, the player has to take part in several minigames and interact with various townspeople to find a thief who attempts to steal a secret treasure.
Miami Law, known in Japan and Europe as Miami Crisis, is an adventure video game developed by Hudson Soft for the Nintendo DS handheld system. Though produced by a Japanese company, the title was initially released in North America on June 9, 2009 and it was released in Europe on September 25, with the English localization being the first project by Gaijinworks since its establishment in 2006. Hudson Soft worked closely with Gaijinworks founder and head translator Victor Ireland on the project, who sent a research team to Miami, Florida to aid in development of the title. The game features music by hip hop group Miami Beat Wave, who were licensed by Ireland to give the game's location an authentic feel.
Puzzle Quest 2 is a video game developed by Infinite Interactive for the Nintendo DS, Xbox Live Arcade, iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7, and Microsoft Windows. It was released on June 22, 2010 by D3 Publisher. A version for the PlayStation Portable was in development, but was cancelled due to sound bugs. It is the sequel to Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, and like its predecessor, it combines role-playing with strategy and puzzle elements. It uses a competitive, Bejeweled-style, "match three game" playfield to simulate combat and other activities common to role-playing games.
Alice in Wonderland is an action-adventure video game published by Disney Interactive Studios. Based on Tim Burton's 2010 film of the same name, it was released in the same week as the film for the Wii, Nintendo DS, Microsoft Windows and Zeebo, with the soundtrack being composed by video game music composer Richard Jacques. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments is an adventure mystery video game in the Sherlock Holmes series developed by Frogwares in 2014 and distributed by Focus Home Interactive from 2014 to 2019 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Frogwares regained the publishing rights to the title on Steam and the game reappeared on other platforms in the start of 2020. A Nintendo Switch version was released on February 3, 2022.
American Girl: Kit Mystery Challenge! is a point-and-click adventure video game developed by Webfoot Technologies and published by THQ. It was released exclusively on the Nintendo DS on June 23, 2008, as part of the American Girl toy franchise. Set in 1930s Cincinnati, the game follows Kit Kittredge as she solves a range of mysteries in and around her neighborhood all while helping her family during the Great Depression.
