Sherman Stanley Corbett (born November 3,1962) is an American former professional baseball player who played three seasons for the California Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB). [1] He was the head baseball coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio [2] until he became the assistant to the athletic director in 2012. [3]

Kino Sports Complex is a multiple-use sports complex in Tucson,Arizona. The Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago White Sox formerly utilized the complex's main ballpark,Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium,for Cactus League games each March and had their minor league complexes on-site. The ballpark was also home to the Tucson Sidewinders of the Pacific Coast League for the team's last decade in Tucson,running from the stadium's 1998 opening season to the 2008 season. The ballpark was a temporary home (2011–2013) to the Tucson Padres of the Pacific Coast League during the team's relocation to El Paso,Texas. The UTSA Roadrunners men's basketball team represents the University of Texas at San Antonio in San Antonio,Texas,US in NCAA Division I as a member of the American Athletic Conference from the 2023–24 season. Originally competing as an NCAA independent in 1981–82,the Roadrunners moved to the Trans-America Athletic Conference in 1986–87,then moved to the Southland Conference in 1991–92,then moved to the Western Athletic Conference in 2012–2013,then moved to Conference USA in 2013–2014 where they remained for the next 10 seasons. UTSA plays its home games at the on-campus Convocation Center,and is coached by former NBA player Steve Henson.

The 2012 UTSA Roadrunners football team represented the University of Texas at San Antonio in the 2012 NCAA Division I FBS football season. This was the second season for football at UTSA and their first as members of the Western Athletic Conference. Larry Coker returned as the team's coach for a second season. The team played its home games at the Alamodome. This was the second of a two-year FCS to FBS transition period for UTSA,so they were not bowl-eligible. It was UTSA's only season in the WAC,as they joined Conference USA on July 1,2013. They finished the season 8–4,3–3 in WAC play to finish in fourth place.
The 2010–13 Western Athletic Conference realignment refers to the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) dealing with several proposed and actual conference expansion and reduction plans among various NCAA conferences and institutions from 2010 to 2013. Moves involving the WAC were a significant part of a much larger NCAA conference realignment in which it was one of the most impacted conferences. Of the nine members of the WAC in 2010,only two—the University of Idaho and New Mexico State University—remained in the conference beyond the 2012–13 school year,and Idaho departed for the Big Sky Conference after the 2013–14 school year. Five pre-2010 members are now all-sports members of the Mountain West Conference (MW),and another joined the MW for football only while placing most of its other sports in the Big West Conference. Another pre-2010 member joined Conference USA (C-USA) in July 2013.
The 2013 Western Athletic Conference baseball tournament was held beginning May 22 and ending on May 26. The top eight regular season finishers of the league's ten teams met in the round-robin tournament held at QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie,Texas. UTSA won their first tournament championship and earned the Western Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. UTSA departed for Conference USA after the 2013 season,again leaving the conference with no team that had ever won the tournament for 2014.
Jason David Marshall in an American college baseball coach and former shortstop. Marshall played college baseball at Texas A&M University from 1989 to 1992 for coach Mark Johnson. He was then drafted in the 13th round by the Kansas City Royals,where he played in their organization from 1992 to 1995. Marshall was the head baseball coach at the University of Texas at San Antonio from 2013 to 2019.
Britt Bonneau is an American college baseball coach who had been the head coach at Abilene Christian (ACU) from 1997 to the competition of the 2018 season. Under Bonneau,ACU played in nine NCAA Tournaments. Previously,he was an assistant at UTSA,Lubbock Christian,and Abilene Christian. Bonneau played professional baseball in the mid-1990s after playing college baseball at Lubbock Christian and Oklahoma.
