K. Kunhiraman who writes under the pen name K. Panoor is a civil rights activist, poet and writer from Kerala, India. He has received several noted awards including the UNESCO Award, the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Overall Contributions and Award from the Department of Culture, India government. Panoor's books were used as textbooks in various universities in Kerala. He played a key role in the formation of the Confederation of Human Rights Organizations (CHRO) and was its first chairman.

Kozhippara Falls also known as Kakkadampoyil Falls is a waterfalls in the Malappuram district in Kerala, India. It is located in Kakkadampoyil near the Silent Valley National Park on the north eastern border of the Malappuram district. The waterfalls is looked after by the Kerala forest department that comes within the Edavanna Forest Range.
Abbas Ali Shihab Thangal also known as Panakkad Sayed Abbas Ali Shihab Thangal is a Sayyid ,(thangal) community leader from Kerala, India. He is the youngest son of Sayed Pookoya thangal, Panakkad. He is National Political Advisory Committee, Indian Union Muslim League, He holds various significant positions including Malappuram District President of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML). He former president of Samastha Kerala Sunni Students Federation (SKSSF) which is the students wing of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama.
