The Swatantra Thozhilali Union also known as Swatantra Trade Union (STU) [1] is the oldest trade union federation in India. It is associated with the Indian Union Muslim League [2] [3] [4]
May 5, 1957 - That is when the Kerala State Independent Workers Union State Committee was formed. When the organization was born at the office of the Independent Handloom Workers Union in Valiyangadi, Kozhikode, there was no beating[ clarification needed ]. All those present had vowed to undertake a great mission. The organization was able to provide benefits to all workers and create better working conditions by eliminating labor exploitation.
The Communist Party of India (Marxist) (abbreviated as CPI(M)/CPIM/CPM) is a communist political party in India. It is the largest communist party in India in terms of membership and electoral seats and one of the national parties of India. The 34 years of Left Front rule (where CPIM was the Largest Party) in West Bengal was the longest-serving democratically elected communist-led government in the world. The fall of CPIM from West Bengal has led to a gradual decline in its memberships and seats. It's currently the ruling party of Taherpur Municipality of West Bengal.
