All India Federation of Trade Unions, a central trade union federation in India. AIFTU was launched in 1992, as the trade union wing of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Janashakti. Following the breakdown of CPI (ML) Janashakti into various splinter groups and the withdrawal of many of them from open mass work, AIFTU declined. An attempt to reorganization was made, and the federation has been reconstructed under the leadership of the president P. K. Murthy and general secretary Burgula Pradeep, who had been elected by the 1992 founding conference. This AIFTU is today not affiliated with any specific political party. There are also some minor splinter groups using the name.

BKMU is independent from both the main trade union central of CPI, the All India Trade Union Congress, as well as the farmers' organisation of CPI, the All India Kisan Sabha.

Mangat Ram Pasla is an Indian politician. He was a Central Committee member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), but was expelled from the party in December 2001. He had previously been the Secretary of the Punjab State Committee of the party. Pasla was one of the most prominent leaders of CPI(M) in Doaba belt. He was also the General Secretary of the Punjab unit of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions.
The Communist Party of Canada (Marxist–Leninist) is a Canadian federal political party founded by Hardial Bains in 1970. The CPC (M-L) has been registered with Elections Canada as the Marxist–Leninist Party of Canada (MLPC) since 1974 as the party is prohibited from using the Communist Party name in Canadian elections to avoid confusion among voters. The party developed separately and independently from the Communist Party of Canada (CPC), originating among students and intellectuals in Canada during the 1960s. After a period of alignment with Maoism and China, the CPC (M-L) pursued a Hoxhaist, pro-Albanian line until the early 1990s. At present, the party directs most of its public support to Cuba and North Korea.
Jagjit Singh Lyallpuri was an Indian politician. He was the oldest surviving member of the founding Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).
Mohan Punamia was an Indian trade unionist and politician. Punamia, then the Rajasthan secretary of the All India Trade Union Congress, was detained and jailed 1964-1965 under Defense of India Rules.
