Sitanshu Hargovindbhai Kotak (born 19 October 1972 in Rajkot) is an Indian retired first-class cricketer and coach.
A left-handed batsman,he has been a prolific run scorer for Saurashtra. He scored 8061 runs in 130 first class match with average of 41.76. He also took 70 wickets while playing for Saurastra.
As head coach,He led Saurashtra to the victory in the 2020 Ranji Trophy Final. After the appointment of Rahul Dravid as the head of the National Cricket Academy in August 2019,Kotak was appointed as Dravid's successor as the head coach of the India A team.
In Jan 2025,he was added as the batting coach of the senior Indian cricket team for the limited overs series against England at Home. [1]

The Chappell–Ganguly controversy was caused by a series of events in late 2005 and early 2006 which involved highly publicised infighting in the Indian cricket team between the then newly appointed coach Greg Chappell and captain Sourav Ganguly. The dispute resulted in the removal of Ganguly as captain and his replacement by vice-captain Rahul Dravid in November 2005,with Ganguly being dropped from the ODI team. Ganguly was also dropped from the Test team at the end of January 2006. The dispute stirred up strong emotions in India,ranging from fiery street protests in Ganguly's home town of Kolkata and his home state of West Bengal,to speeches in the Parliament of India. Eventually Ganguly was recalled to the team in both forms of cricket in late 2006 after his replacements lost form,and was selected as a part of the Indian team for the 2007 Cricket World Cup.
Krishnakumar Dinesh Karthik is an Indian commentator and former professional cricketer and coach who played for the India national cricket team and is currently the batting coach for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. He was also the captain of the Tamil Nadu cricket team in domestic cricket. He made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 2004. He was the 4th Indian batsman to play 300 T20 matches. Karthik was a member of the team that won both the inaugural 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. Karthik is also the first Indian ever to win a Player of The Match award in a T20 International,having done so in 2006. Known for his six hitting ability,aggressive batting style,longevity and ability to finish games strong,Karthik was viewed as a crucial asset in the IPL and the India national cricket team for almost two decades.
The Titan Cup was a triangular One Day International cricket tournament held in India between 17 October and 6 November 1996 involving South Africa,Australia and India. Vidarbha were the defending champions. The final took place between Vidarbha and Saurashtra,starting on 3 February 2019. Vidarbha defeated Saurashtra by 78 runs in the final,to become the sixth team in the tournament's history to retain their title.
The 2020–21 Ranji Trophy was scheduled to be the 87th season of the Ranji Trophy,the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. Saurashtra were the defending champions. However,in January 2021,the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that the season had been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first time since the tournament's inception in the 1934–35 season that the Ranji Trophy was not held.
