Shokrabad (Persian : شكراباد‎, also Romanized as Shokrābād; also known as Lashkarābād)^[1] is a village in Khalazir Rural District, Aftab District, Tehran County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 305, in 73 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Khalazir Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Aftab District, Tehran County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,051, in 1,977 families. The rural district has 13 villages.

Aftab District is a district (bakhsh) in Tehran County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 22,898, in 5,497 families. The District has no cities. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Aftab Rural District and Khalazir Rural District.
