Asian Games Multi-sport event

The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The Games were regulated by the Asian Games Federation (AGF) from the first Games in New Delhi, India, until the 1978 Games. Since the 1982 Games, they have been organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), after the breakup of the Asian Games Federation. Lee Woon-jae is a South Korean former football goalkeeper. He was part of South Korea's 1994, 2002, 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup campaigns. He was, with Mark Schwarzer, one of only two Asian players to be nominated for the IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper of the 21st Century (2001–2011).

The 1990 Asian Games also known as the XI Asiad and the 11th Asian Games, were held from September 22 to October 7, 1990, in Beijing, China. This was the first Asian Games held in China.

1994 Asian Games

The 1994 Asian Games, also known as the XII Asiad and the 12th Asian Games, were held from October 2 to 16, 1994, in Hiroshima, Japan. The main theme of this edition was to promote peace and harmony among Asian nations. It was emphasized by the host because the venue was the site of the first atomic bomb attack 49 years earlier. Due to the 1991 Gulf War, Iraq was suspended from the games. The games became memorable by the debuts of former republics of the Soviet Union: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

The Tiny Rascal Gang, also known as TRG, Tiny Raskal Gang or Rascals for short, is an Asian American gang based in Long Beach, California. The gang was founded by Cambodian refugees in 1981 as part of their cause to protect themselves from the larger, more numerous gangs in their neighborhoods. Initially, a mere cause which connected numerous youth crews and gangs across Long Beach, Santa Ana and shortly after nearby cities, they are now an established network and identity of individual "sets" or local gangs. Its members identify gray as their gang's color of distinction, a custom and practice that has waned somewhat in accordance to the police crackdowns specifically targeting gang members, but members have been seen to dress in all black with a gray rag representing their set.

2019 South Asian Games XIII South Asian Games

The 2019 South Asian Games, officially the XIII South Asian Games, was a major multi-sport event which was originally slated to be held from 9 to 18 March 2019 in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal. However, the dates were postponed and the event was held from 1–10 December 2019, coincidentally at the same time as the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines. The new dates were confirmed at the South Asian Olympic Council Executive Board meeting in Bangkok on 1 March 2019. The Dasarath Stadium hosted the opening ceremony along with the men's football tournament, with the stadium's renovation after the 2015 earthquake completed in under 10 months with an increased capacity of 20,000, along with the closing ceremony on 10 December.

Uzbekistan competed in the 1994 Asian Games. It was their first ever post-Soviet appearance in the Asian Games as Uzbekistan. They won a total of 11 golds, 12 silvers, and 19 bronze, including the gold medal that they won in men's association football. They ranked 5th out of the 42 countries that participated in the Asian Games. They won gold medals in Athletics, Boxing, Canoeing, Football, and Shooting. They won the most medals in canoeing, where they won 4 gold, 7 silver, 2 bronze.

Shooting at the 2018 Asian Games was held at the Jakabaring Shooting Range, Palembang, Indonesia. It was held from 19 to 26 August 2018.
