Shred Nebula is a multidirectional shooter developed by American studio CrunchTime Games for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade service. The game was released on September 3, 2008. [1]

Shred Nebula takes its inspiration from Asteroids and SubSpace . [2] It is a top down shooter in which the player can only shoot in the direction the ship is facing. The game features over 20 ships, each with its own unique speed, durability, and special attacks. In multiplayer, players can choose from a selection of 8 different ships. [3] There are 40 stages in total, each of which will feature unique obstacles or traps. [2] The game features three modes: a single-player campaign with over 20 levels, a score attack mode, and a multiplayer mode that supports up to eight players online and up to two offline.[ citation needed ]

Development

On July 9, 2008, CrunchTime Games announced that development was finished. [4] In August, the developer announced the game's release for September 3, 2008. [5] Crunchtime Games publicly released the game's design documents in September to aid games designers. [6] Crunchtime gave an interview the same month. [7]

Reception

Shred Nebula received mixed reviews from critics upon release. On Metacritic, the game holds a score of 66/100 based on 16 reviews, indicating "mixed or average reviews". [9] On GameRankings, the game holds a score of 65.20% based on 15 reviews. [8]

Castle Crashers is a 2D side-scrolling hack-and-slash video game developed by The Behemoth. The Xbox 360 version was released on August 27, 2008, via Xbox Live Arcade as part of the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade. The PlayStation 3 version was released in North America on August 31, 2010, and November 3, 2010, in Europe via the PlayStation Network. A Microsoft Windows version, exclusive to Steam, was released on September 26, 2012. The game is set in a fictional medieval universe in which a dark wizard steals a mystical crystal and captures four princesses. Four knights are charged by the king to rescue the princesses, recover the crystal, and bring the wizard to justice. The game includes music created by members of Newgrounds.

Every Extend Extra Extreme is a game for the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade service released on October 17, 2007. It is an expanded version of the PlayStation Portable game Every Extend Extra which is, in itself, an expanded version of the 2004 freeware title Every Extend.

The objective of the game is to clear each of the five stages as quick as possible. Stages have a heavy emphasis on puzzle solving and chain reactions, which are necessary to clear out enemy formations. The Blowneedle has a pair of satellites at its disposal, and can place them anywhere on the screen to fend off enemies.

Aqua is an arcade-action shooter with tactical elements, driven by a steampunk story in which the vast majority of the world is covered with water. The game is set in an alternate reality where most of the Earth is covered with water and factions war for the remaining pieces of land.

GoldenEye 007 is a 2010 first-person shooter video game developed by Eurocom and published by Activision for the Wii, with a handheld version for Nintendo DS developed by n-Space. It is a modern reimagining of the 1995 James Bond film GoldenEye as well as a remake of the 1997 video game of the same name, developed for the earlier Nintendo 64 console. The game was officially announced by Nintendo at their E3 2010 conference presentation. The game was released on 2 November 2010 in tandem with another James Bond game, Blood Stone, which was also released for the DS, but not the Wii. The game is a remaster of the original Perfect Dark, which was released for the Nintendo 64 in 2000. Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team is a top-down shooter game with twin-stick control, set in the Warhammer 40,000 future fantasy universe. Four Space Marine classes are playable Sternguard Veteran, Techmarine, Vanguard Veteran and Librarian. The first two focusing on Shooting the later two on melee. The game supports single player and same screen multiplayer modes.
