Shri Viswa Vinayaka Mandir, also called Ganesh Mandir, is a Hindu temple of Ganesha. It is located in Rhenock, Pakyong district, Sikkim, India. Sri Viswa Vinayaka Mandir was inaugurated by Shri Dinesh Chandra, general secretary of Vishva Hindu Parishad accompanied by the former chief minister, Shri Pawan Chamling, at a beautiful landscape of Rundung Village in Rhenock on 3 October 2016.
This massive religious infrastructure of Hindu accords 51 faces of Lord Ganesha, with 12 feet each 16 of them placed at corridor towards temple's main entrance. Adding excitement is another attraction is the massive mythological Daemon vs Gods ‘Samudra Manthan’ statues. Shivling and statue of Hanuman is also present in Viswa Vinayak Temple.
It was constructed on 3 October 2016. The four-storied temple stands 108 feet tall in a complex developed over a 2.56-acre plot. The mandir has been constructed on land where previously the Radha Krishna Mandir stood. Part of the land also belonged to a local resident, KB Adhikari. The temple will house 51 forms of Lord Ganesha, a first in the North East Region. While a lot of the construction material was imported from Thailand, expert artisans were brought in from Nepal and West Bengal for the construction. The main altar has a 12-foot tall statue of Lord Ganesha with 16 hands. It may be recalled that the chief minister had laid the foundation stone for the project on 20 April 2008 on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti.
The temple will house 51 forms of Lord Ganesha, a first in the North East Region. The main altar has a 12-foot tall statue of Lord Ganesha with 16 hands.and very nice and beautiful statue of Samudra Mathan which is one of the best known episodes in Hindu mythology. The story appears in the Bhagavata Purana, the Mahabharata and the Vishnu Purana, and explains the origin of amrita, the drink of immortality.
Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayak Chaturthi, or Ganeshotsav is a Hindu festival commemorating the birth of the Hindu god Ganesha. The festival is marked with the installation of Ganesha's clay idols privately in homes and publicly on elaborate pandals. Observances include chanting of Vedic hymns and Hindu texts, such as prayers and vrata (fasting). Offerings and prasada from the daily prayers, that are distributed from the pandal to the community, include sweets such as modaka as it is believed to be a favourite of Ganesha. The festival ends on the tenth day after start, when the idol is carried in a public procession with music and group chanting, then immersed in a nearby body of water such as a river or sea, called visarjan on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. In Mumbai alone, around 150,000 statues are immersed annually. Thereafter the clay idol dissolves and Ganesha is believed to return to his celestial abode.
The Laxminarayan Mandir, also known as the Birla Mandir, is a Hindu temple up to large extent dedicated to Laxminarayan in Delhi, India. After his death his son Atulbhai is appointed as a trustee on 26.07.2018. Two more trustees are descendants of the original owners of this temple, namely Shri Hemantbhai Vyas and Smt. Shobhanaben Trivedi. The temple is owned and managed by the Hanuman Mandir Camp Trust, Ahmedabad where there are 7 trustees at present. Over the above-mentioned three, there are: Parthivkumar Adhyaru is Pramukh trustee. Arunbhai Shah is Uppramukh trustee. Noted lawyer shri Sudhir Nanavati is trustee cum legal adviser and noted social worker Shri Lalajibhi Kharawal's son Shri Lochen Kharawal is a trustee.

The Fiji Sanatan Society of Alberta, also known as Vishnu Mandir in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is a modern-style Hindu temple that was built by some of the very first Fijian Hindu immigrants in Edmonton in 1984. Hindus have been living in Canada for over a century, especially in Edmonton. Fijian Hindus began to settle in Edmonton in larger proportions starting in the 1960s and 1970s. They conducted prayers and meditated in individual households via groups they formed in the community. Talks of the need of a temple started in 1983 by four major Hindu Bhakti groups in Edmonton at the time, Shree Sanatan Dharam Ramayan Society, Edmonton Geeta Ramayan Congregation, Edmonton Vedic Congregation and later joined by Edmonton Prem Society, the group founded the Sanatan Board and raised funds to buy a property for the temple. It became the first Fijian Hindu cultural society in all of Canada, and till date is the largest. It started as a small place of worship in the Balwin residential area, constructed out of an old Church building. Since then it has been renovated 2 times, first adding a basement, then in 2006 expanded further making it the second largest Hindu temple in Edmonton.
Maheswarnath Mandir is a Hindu temple located in the town of Triolet, Mauritius. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Shiva. The temple was founded in 1888 by Pandit Shri Sajeebunlall Ramsoondur, who came from Calcutta. The temple is famous for its association with the first pilgrimage to Ganga Talao, the sacred lake found in the center of Mauritius. The temple is the biggest and one of the old temples on the island. The oldest Hindu temples include the Kovil at Bon Espoir Piton (1830), Sinatambou Kovil at Terre Rouge (1850), Murugan Kovil at Clemencia (1856), the Shivala at Gokoolah (1867), Rameshwarnath Shivala at Terre Rouge (1867) and Jharnath Shivala at l'Aventure (1881).
