Sian-e Olya (Persian : سيان عليا‎, also Romanized as Sīān-e ‘Olyā, Sīān ‘Olyā, Sīyān Olyā, and Seyān ‘Olyā; also known as Sīān Bāla and Sīān-e Bālā)^[1] is a village in Hamzehlu Rural District, in the Central District of Khomeyn County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 283, in 98 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Hamzehlu Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Khomeyn County, Markazi Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,748, in 1,400 families. The rural district has 24 villages including Penderjohn, Sion, Zanjirak, Mahoorzan, and Chogan.
