Mohammedia is a port city on the west coast of Morocco between Casablanca and Rabat in the region of Casablanca-Settat. It hosts the most important oil refinery of Morocco, the Samir refinery, which makes it the center of the Moroccan petroleum industry. It has a population of 208,612 according to the 2014 Moroccan census.
Sidi Moumen is an arrondissement and northeastern suburb of Casablanca, in the Sidi Bernoussi district of the Casablanca-Settat region of Morocco. As of 2004 it had 289,253 inhabitants. It contains shanty towns from where the terrorists of the 2003 and 2007 Casablanca bombings came, mainly from Karian Thoma.

The GNF2 2009-2010 was the 48th edition of the Botola 2. For this season, the competition was expanded to 19 teams as 3 teams instead of the usual two were promoed from the 2008–09 GNFA 1 season. The season commenced on 23 July 2008 and concluded on 31 May 2009. JSK Chabab Kasba Tadla were crowned as champions of the Botola 2 for the 2009–10 season resulting in two successive promotions for the club following the promotion to the Botola 2 in the previous season. Chabab Rif Hoceima were also promoted to the 2010–11 Botola after finishing runners-up.
The Casablanca Tramway is a low-floor tram system in Casablanca, Morocco. It is the second tram system in Morocco, after the Rabat-Salé tramway, but is longer and has more stations. As of 2017, it consists of one 31 kilometre Y-shaped line with 48 stops, connecting Sidi Moumen in the east with Ain Diab and the Facultés district in the west. A 22 kilometre extension is scheduled to open in 2018 with more lines planned.
Moulay Rachid is a district and southeastern suburb of Casablanca, in the Casablanca-Settat region of Morocco. The district, named after Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco, covers an area of 13.38 square kilometres and as of 2004 had 384,044 inhabitants. It lies to the east of Sbata.
