Simon Carr (born 7 November 1999) is an Irish former professional tennis player. [2] He had a career high ATP singles ranking of No. 512 achieved on 3 February 2020, and best doubles ranking of No. 507 achieved on 27 September 2021.
Simon Carr is the son of Tommy. [3] He also played Gaelic football and rugby and swam when young but his mother got him into tennis at the age of nine and his grandfather is Seán Purcell. [4] He studied in Mullingar C.B.S. [5]
Carr represented Ireland at the Davis Cup, where he had a W/L record of 12–8. [6] He received his first call-up to play against Denmark in February 2018. [7] [8] Carr announced his retirement from professional tennis in May 2024. [9]

Marat Mubinovich Safin is a Russian former world No. 1 tennis player and former politician. Nicknamed 'Safinator', he achieved the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) top singles ranking on 20 November 2000. Safin began his professional tennis career in 1997, and held the No. 1 ranking for a total of nine weeks between November 2000 and April 2001. When Safin became the world's number one player in 2000, he became the youngest world number one in the ATP era of tennis. He won his first major title at the 2000 US Open, defeating Pete Sampras in the final, and his second at the 2005 Australian Open, defeating Lleyton Hewitt in the final. Safin helped lead Russia to Davis Cup victories in 2002 and 2006. Despite his dislike of grass courts, he became the first Russian man to reach the Wimbledon semifinals in 2008.

Radek Štěpánek is a Czech former professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking was world No. 8 and best doubles ranking was world No. 4. Štěpánek's biggest achievements are reaching two Masters 1000 event finals and the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 2006, as well as winning the deciding match for Czech Republic's Davis Cup winning team in 2012 and again in 2013. In doubles, he won his first Grand Slam title at the 2012 Australian Open, along with Indian partner Leander Paes, defeating the Bryan Brothers in the final. Pablo Carreño Busta is a Spanish professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 10 by the ATP, which he first achieved on 11 September 2017. He also reached a best doubles ranking of No. 16 on 17 July 2017. He has won seven singles titles, including a Masters 1000 title at the Canadian Open, and four doubles titles on the ATP Tour. As part of international sports' reaction to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ATP, the WTA, the ITF, and the four Grand Slam tournaments jointly announced on 1 March that players from Belarus and Russia would not be allowed to play in tournaments under the names or flags of their countries, but would remain eligible to play events until further notice. On 20 May 2022, the ATP, ITF, and WTA announced that ranking points would not be awarded for Wimbledon, due to the All England Club's decision to prohibit players from Belarus or Russia from participating in the tournament.
