A rock festival is an open-air rock concert featuring many different performers, typically spread over two or three days and having a campsite and other amenities and forms of entertainment provided at the venue. Some festivals are singular events, while others recur annually in the same location. Occasionally, a festival will focus on a particular genre, but many attempt to bring together a diverse lineup to showcase a broad array of popular music trends.

Fuji Rock Festival is an annual rock festival held in Naeba Ski Resort, in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. The three-day event, organized by Smash Japan, features more than 200 Japanese and international musicians, making it the largest outdoor music event in Japan. In 2005, more than 100,000 people attended the festival.
Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay is a performing arts centre located in the Downtown Core of Singapore near the mouth of the Singapore River. Named after the nearby Esplanade Park, it consists of two rounded structures: one housing a concert hall with about 1,600 seats; and the other a theatre with a capacity of about 2,000 for the performing arts.
The National Day Parade (NDP) is an annual parade held in Singapore to commemorate its independence. The Chingay Parade is an annual street parade held in Malaysia and Singapore as part of the Chinese New Year festivities, usually in celebration of the birthdays of Chinese deities or in some cases with the procession of the Goddess of Mercy (Guanyin). The name "Chingay" derives from Hokkien, conflating two words: chin-gē (真藝) meaning "true art", and chng-gē (妝藝) meaning "art of costume". PAYM has been an active contributor to Chingay in Singapore. The festival is usually held in mid-year for a stretch of one month and incorporates theatre arts, dance, music and visual arts, etc. Besides local participants, many of the events are by international artists.
ZoukOut is an annual dance music festival held in Singapore since 2001. One of Asia's biggest music dance festivals, it is organised by Zouk Singapore. The Singapore Indoor Stadium, known exonymously as the Indoor Stadium, is an indoor arena located in Kallang, Singapore. It is within walking distance of the Singapore National Stadium, and collectively form a part of the wider Singapore Sports Hub. It has a maximum total capacity of 15,000 depending on configuration, with an all-seating configuration of 12,000.
Hellfest, also known as Hellfest Summer Open Air, is a rock festival focusing on heavy metal music, held annually in June in Clisson, France. Its high attendance makes it the French music festival with the largest turnover. It is also one of the biggest metal festivals in Europe and the first to exist in France.

The Float at Marina Bay, stylised as The Float@Marina Bay and also known as the Marina Bay Floating Platform, was a multi-purpose outdoor venue at the Downtown Core area of Marina Bay, Singapore. The venue consists of a 120 by 83 m steel platform in the Marina Reservoir, and a 27,000-seat grandstand along the shore. The floating platform can bear up to 1,070 tonnes, equivalent to the total weight of 9,000 people, 200 tonnes of stage props and three 30-tonne military vehicles.

HallyuPopFest (韩流巨星音乐节/韓流巨星音樂節/한류팝페스트) is a Korean pop music festival first held in Singapore from September 7 to 9, 2018. It was the largest K-Pop festival ever held in Southeast Asia, being the first of its kind in Singapore. The event featured 21 performing acts, showcasing 111 South Korean artists. It was held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The festival was first announced via a media release on May 24, 2018. The organizers at Singapore-based firm H.A.H. Entertainment promised "a strong base of fan favorites peppered with a few new faces."
