Sinikka Antila

Sinikka Aulikki Antila (born 4 November 1960) is a Finnish lawyer and diplomat. [1] She is a leading expert in trade and development[ citation needed ] at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Development Policy Department.

Antila was born in Tampere, and started working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1985. [2]

Between 1988 and 1991, she worked at the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Côte d'Ivoire. At the same time she was in Nigeria as a Manager of the Canadian Fund and as a free-lancer consultant. [2]

From 1998 to 2003, Antila served as Development Co-operation Counselor and Temporary Attorney at the Finnish Embassy in Windhoek from 2001 to 2003. In addition, she has worked in the ministry for development policy positions, and served as Head of General Development Policy and Planning Unit.

Antila was posted from 2007 to 2011 in Lusaka, where she was also a Finnish Ambassador to Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi in 2007–2011. After that, she was the Finnish Ambassador to Tanzania in Dar es Salaam from 2011 to 2015. [3] [4]

Riitta Hannele Resch is a Finnish diplomat. She is a leading expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Humanitarian Aid and Policy Unit. Resch worked as an ambassador in Manila from 2004 to 2008. She started working at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1982.

Kari Juhani Karanko was a Finnish diplomat. He was Master of Science (Economics) by education. He was Finnish Ambassador to Dar es Salaam from 1988 to 1993 and then the Development Counselor of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. He was Finnish ambassador to Windhoek (Namibia) from 1998 to 2000. From there, Karanko had to return to Finland because he had criticized the Namibian government because it had taken part in the Second Congo War. After that, he was the head of the Department for International Environmental Policy at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. From 2006 to 2007, Karanko was Finnish Ambassador to Kathmandu.

Päivi Marjatta Hiltunen-Toivio is a Finnish lawyer and diplomat. She was Finnish Ambassador to Jakarta. She has been in charge from 15 August 2014 to 2018. She started with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1979.

Pirkko-Liisa Kyöstilä is a Finnish diplomat. She is the Finnish Ambassador and Chief of the Finnish Liaison Office to Ramallah from September 1, 2014. She started working at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1987.

Jorma Paukku was a Finnish diplomat and a foreign affairs counselor.

Hoyce Anderson Temu is a Tanzanian diplomat, journalist, public relations professional and former beauty queen, who was appointed as the deputy head of mission at Tanzania's Embassy in Geneva, Switzerland, on 23 May 2021. She took up her position in August 2021.
