The Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 is an Automobile Racing Club of America race at Salem Speedway. The race is traditionally held in April, and currently occupies the third spot on the series schedule. Frank Kimmel is the only multi-time winner of the event, taking three victories.

Kentuckiana, a portmanteau of Kentucky and Indiana, is the area in the Upland South region of the United States containing metropolitan areas with counties in both Kentucky and Indiana. Kentuckiana is primarily the Louisville metropolitan area, including nine counties in Kentucky and five counties in Southern Indiana. This area "is regularly referred to as Kentuckiana".

The 2016 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards was the 64th season of the ARCA Racing Series. The season began on February 13 with the Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire and ended on October 14 with the Kansas 150. Rookie Chase Briscoe, driving the No. 77 for Cunningham Motorsports, won the drivers' championship.

The 2021 Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 presented by Scott County Tourism was the 19th stock car race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series, the tenth and final race of the 2021 Sioux Chief Showdown, and the 25th iteration of the event. The race was held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Salem, Indiana at Salem Speedway, a 0.555 miles (0.893 km) permanent paved oval-shaped racetrack. The race took the scheduled 200 laps to complete. On the final restart on lap 156, Jesse Love of Venturini Motorsports would take the lead and lead every lap afterwards to win his first career ARCA Menards Series win and his only win of the season. Meanwhile, Ty Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing, who would finish second, would win the 2021 Sioux Chief Showdown championship, winning the championship by 22 points. To fill out the podium, Rajah Caruth of Rev Racing would finish third.

The 2019 Kentuckiana Ford Dealers ARCA 200 was the third stock car race of the 2019 ARCA Menards Series season and the 24th iteration of the event. The race was held on Sunday, April 14, 2019, in Salem, Indiana at Salem Speedway, a 0.555 miles permanent paved oval-shaped racetrack. The race was shortened from its scheduled 200 laps to 101 laps due to rain. Venturini Motorsports driver Michael Self would dominate the race until the caution came out on lap 98, with the race being officially called three laps later. The race was Self's fifth career ARCA Menards Series win, his second of the season, and his second consecutive win. To fill out the podium, Sam Mayer of GMS Racing and Carson Hocevar of KBR Development would finish second and third, respectively.
