The film explores the deep bond between an ideal teacher, Agani Mohanty, and his former students. When a student is falsely accused, Agani Sir fights to restore his dignity. The film highlights gratitude, integrity, and respect for educators.
Sir was theatrically released on 14 November 2025 coinciding with Children's Day.
The narrative follows Agani Mohanty, a respected and selfless teacher who believes teaching is a form of service. His former students go on to achieve high-ranking posts, thanks to his guidance. One day, a successful former student, Ramesh, discovers that Agani Sir now lives in poverty, neglected by his own family. Ramesh brings him home, honoring the teacher's contribution to his life.
However, Ramesh becomes falsely accused in a land scam. Agani Sir, along with another former student Murali, takes it upon himself to uncover the truth. Their efforts lead to Ramesh's exoneration. The film culminates with Agani Sir being awarded the President's Award, highlighting the central message: A teacher holds a divine place in a student's life.
Teacher ship is not a profession but a service. This is the motto of an ideal school teacher Agani Mohanty. His passion is to readmit the school dropout students. Among them two students are Murali Mohan Nayak and Ramesh Chhotray. Both are studied well and posted in high rank of Govt. services. In course of time Ramesh joined as Sub registrar in nearly town & came to school for a cordial meet with Agani Sir & return his borrowing amount which he was taken from Agani sir to purchase a Sewing Machine for his mother. But Agani sir was retired and lived in his parental village. By collecting the address, Ramesh reached there & came to know that the son & daughter in law of Agani sir had threw him act of the house. Ramesh searched Agani sir everywhere and faced him a road side in a bad condition. He took up to hospital and after that took him to his own house. In the meantime, Ramesh is trapped in a land scam care. Agani sir & his school mate Murali helped him and proved him innocent. Again sir is selected for President Award. Old student association of the school gathered for hi house and declare that "A teacher is the real God for the Student".
