Sisaut is a Rural Municipalities in Sarlahi District in the Madhesh Province of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, it had a population of 7,967 people living in 1,283 individual households. It is about 34km away from Mahendra Highway. It lies 208 km (130 mi) south east of the capital Kathmandu. Durga-puja during the Dashain festival is very famous here, many devotees from various villages come to here in the evening.[Sandhya Aarti]. It lies around 18 kilometers west of the district headquarters Malangwa. People form here are kind hearted and self-motivated (no evidence provided). It has a high literate rate as compare to other districts of Madhesh Province (no evidence provided). The number of civil workers[Government Job Holders] is high. Foreign employment is now big source of income of household. Majority of employment is in India.

Developmental works are being done by the representatives of here like MP, Mayor and Wada Chairman. The Present MP of this region[Sarlahi Area no.4] is Dr. Amresh Kumar Singh. The Present Mayor of this Region[Ramnagar rural municipality] is Raja Babu Yadav.[Youngest Mayor of Nepal]. 

Mahadev Temple, Ram Janki Temple, Mahavir Temple, Baudhi Mata Temple, Baraham Baba Temple, etc. are among the religious sites located here.

Big Haat Bazaar takes place on Sunday and Thursday.

The major occupation of the people living here is farming. Businessman, government job holders, Pandit are also some professions of the people living there.

There are two governmental and 3-4 private[Boarding] schools.

Bhojpuri, Bajika, Maithili, Nepali and Hindi are the languages spoken in the village [1]

Sisautiya सिसौटिया is a small and most populated village in the southernmost part of Nepal commonly known as Madhesh or Terai. Sisautiya is 9 km north of the Indian border, 18 km south from Brahathawa municipality 9 km west from district headquarters Malangawa. It is located at 26°52'0N 85°34'0E with an altitude of 79 metres(262 feet) There is a customs checkpoint at the border crossing. It is part of the Sarlahi district and Province No. 2. It forms the main part of the Sisautiya village development committee. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 13,729 people living in 2259 individual households.

Hariwan Municipality, also known as Harion Municipality, is a municipality in Sarlahi District Janakpur zone, Nepal. It is one of the municipalities declared by the Government of Nepal on May 18, 2014. It was formed by the joining of four contemporary Village development committees (VDCs) namely Atrouli, Sasapur, Ghurkauli and Harion VDCs covering an area of 88.1 km2. It has been divided into 11 wards with an administration center in Harion Bazar. According to Nepal Population Census 2011, the municipality has a total population of 42,783.

Lalbandi is a municipality in Sarlahi district in Madhesh Province of Nepal. The municipality was established on 18 May 2014 by merging the existing Parwanipur VDC, Netragunj VDC, Jabdi, Lalbandi and Pattharkot VDCs. At the time of the 2021 Nepal Census, it had a population of 66,419 living in 14,873 individual households. There are 17 wards in this municipality. It is the largest municipality in Madhesh Province. The office of this municipality is in ward no.6. Lalbandi Bazar, located on the East West or Mahendra highway, is one of the main trading areas within the municipality. Bordering Ishwarpur Municipality to the east and south, Haripur Municipality to the west and south, Sindhuli district to the north and Hariwan to the west, Lalbandi is the main trading site of the district.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Bodebarsain Municipality</span> Municipality in Madhesh, Nepal

Bodebarsain is a municipality of Saptari District, Madhesh Province. It lies in the eastern Terai region of Nepal. It was officially upgraded to become a municipality in 2016, which otherwise was a Village Development Committee prior to that change. In order to meet the requirements to become a municipality, Bodebarsain merged Phulkahi, Manraja, Khadgapur, Deuri, Kachan, Sarashwar, Negada and Dhanagadi VDC with itself. Bodebarsain spreads over an approximate area of 58.93 km2 (22.75 sq mi) and comprises 10 wards. According to 2021 census, the city had a population of 46,017.

Maina Kaderi is a village development committee located in Saptari District of Madhesh province presently and in the Sagarmatha Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 3,206 people living in 554 individual households.It is the 3rd most literate village of the district.This village has many notable person and places as its attraction some of them include The Chuman Hari Janta Madhyamik School(the second oldest school established of the district), The Chandra Canal bridge, the Mahuli river bridge and some parts of ठाकुर बाबा दह forest.Not only that the ongoing Hulaki highway project also passes through the same village.A suspension bridge has also been established in Barhara of this village for crossing Sunniar river and mobility purposes.Many temples of Durga, Shiva ,Hanuman are situated in the village.

Golbazar is a municipality in Siraha District in the Madhesh Province of south-eastern Nepal. Golbazar Municipality was formed by merging former VDCs of Asanpur, Jamadaha, Ashokpur Balkawa, Betauna, Durgapur, Lalpur, Muksar, Chandraudyapur, and Chandralalpur under a new local administrative structure implemented by the Government of Nepal. As per the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 47763 people living in 2500 individual households.

Basbariya is a rural municipality in Sarlahi District, a part of Madhesh Province in Nepal. It was formed in 2016 occupying current 6 sections (wards) from previous 6 former VDCs. It occupies an area of 29.42 km2 with a total population of 23,568.
