The Six Days of Copenhagen is a six-day track cycling race held annually in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event was first held in 1934. [1] The event is held at the Ballerup Super Arena since it was opened in 2001.

With Camilla Ottesen and Remee as the presenters, the contest was won by the then eleven-year-old Dino Jelusić, who represented Croatia with his song "Ti si moja prva ljubav" while second and third place went to Spain and the United Kingdom respectively. The 1978 World Rowing Championships were World Rowing Championships that were held from 30 October to 5 November at Lake Karapiro near Cambridge, New Zealand. Twenty-eight countries were represented at the regatta. In the history of the World Rowing Championships, 1978 was the only year when the lightweight rowing championships were not held in conjunction with the open men and women event; the lightweight events had already been held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in August.

In the history of the World Rowing Championships, 1978 was the only year when the lightweight rowing championships were not held in conjunction with the open men and women event. The lightweight finals were raced on 6 August. The event was held at Lake Bagsværd. In 1978, a fourth boat class was added to the event: Lightweight double scull.

The Six Day Series or Six Day Cycling Series is an annual series of track cycling events run by Madison Sports Group featuring world class cyclists. The series, organised for the first time in the 2016–17 season, was formed to develop an elite-level competition series around the globe and combines track cycling with a party atmosphere. The aim was to rejuvenate the once flagging format and provide enticing rewards for cyclists during the road cycling off season.

BLAST Pro Series was an international Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament. The tournament brought together six teams in a shortened two-day tournament format. The event rotated locations in cities around the world. The Danish esports organisation, RFRSH Entertainment, created the tournament in 2017.

The 2019 Danish Darts Open was the eighth of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2019 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at Brøndbyhallen, Copenhagen, Denmark, from 14–16 June 2019. It featured a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner.

Denmark at the UCI Road World Championships is an overview of the Danish results at the UCI Road World Championships. The Danish competitors are selected by coaches of the Danish Cycling Federation. Denmark was one of the founding nations of the World Championships, and were the hosts of the first edition ever, the 1921 UCI Road World Championships in Copenhagen. This event only consisted of one race, the men's amateur road race, in which the Danes also won their first ever medal at the World Championships, a silver medal for Willum Nielsen. Since then, Denmark has won a total of 55 medals at the World Championships, including 19 gold medals. Many of these have been won at home soil in Copenhagen, where six editions of the World Championships have been held.
