The Tseung Kwan O line is one of the ten lines of the MTR system in Hong Kong,indicated by the colour purple. It is currently 12.3 kilometres (7.6 mi) long,taking 15 minutes to travel throughout the entire line.
Tseung Kwan O New Town,commonly known as Tseung Kwan O,is one of the nine new towns in Hong Kong,built mainly on reclaimed land in the northern half of Junk Bay in southeastern New Territories,after which it is named.
Tseung Kwan O is a station on the MTR Tseung Kwan O line located at the town centre of the Tseung Kwan O New Town in the New Territories of Hong Kong. The previous station is Tiu Keng Leng and the line splits after this station to LOHAS Park and Hang Hau. The entrances to the station are on Tong Chun Street,Popcorn Mall and Tong Yin Street. A public transport interchange is located outside the station. The architecture firm Aedas designed the station.
Tiu Keng Leng station is an MTR station located in Tiu Keng Leng. The station features cross-platform interchange between the Tseung Kwan O line and the Kwun Tong line,and serves as the eastern terminus of the Kwun Tong line and the western terminus of the Tseung Kwan O line for LOHAS Park shuttle. It is located between Tseung Kwan O and Yau Tong stations on the Tseung Kwan O line,and proceeds to Yau Tong station on the Kwun Tong line. It is the only station on the Kwun Tong line located in the New Territories. The livery of the station is yellow-green.
Po Lam is a neighbourhood in northern Tseung Kwan O,Kowloon. An MTR station with the same name,Tseung Kwan O Village,Yau Yue Wan Village,King Lam Estate,and Po Lam Estate are located there.
Lee Valley VeloPark is a cycling centre in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford,London,England. It is owned and managed by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority,and it was opened to the public in March 2014. The facility was one of the permanent venues for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Hang Hau is a residential area in Tseung Kwan O,Sai Kung,New Territories,Hong Kong. It is located at the eastern edge of the Tseung Kwan O New Town. Most of the land was reclaimed from Hang Hau Village and Shui Bin Village (水邊村).
The Hong Kong Sports Institute is a sports institute located in Sha Tin,New Territories,Hong Kong. It is mandated to provide training to athletes,and also offers academic qualification in the field of sports training. The institute sponsors elite athletes and trains them as full-time employees,based on their talent and potential. The campus is located on reclaimed land on the bank of the Shing Mun River,next to the Sha Tin Racecourse.
Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground,located in Tseung Kwan O,Hong Kong,is a multi-purpose sports ground and home of Hong Kong Premier League club Eastern. It was the main venue for track and field events for the 2009 Hong Kong Games,2009 East Asian Games and 2011 Hong Kong Games.

The games were staged between 9 May and 31 May 2009,with participation from 2307 athletes. The awards included 80 gold medals,80 silver medals and 81 bronze medals. The Commonwealth Arena and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome,known for sponsorship reasons as the Emirates Arena,is an indoor arena and velodrome in Dalmarnock,Glasgow,Scotland. The Ashgabat Sports Complex Velodrome is a velodrome constructed in Ashgabat,Turkmenistan. It was built by Turkish construction company Polimeks for the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. The track is 250 meters long and 7,1 meters wide. The construction materials used fabric from Finland. The total area of the five-storey building of 61,000 m2. Rostrum accommodate up to 6000 spectators,there are VIP loggia and sector for press. Among the infrastructure facilities for athletes:massage room,sauna,restaurant for 48 people,9 cafes at 447 locations and 13 diners rooms.
The 2015–16 UCI Track Cycling World Cup was a multi-race tournament over a track cycling season. It was the 24th series of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup organised by the UCI. The series ran from 30 October 2015 to 17 January 2016 and consisted of three rounds in Cali,Cambridge and Hong Kong.
