Skin: The Remixes is the first remix album by Australian electronic musician Flume, released on 7 April 2017, by Future Classic. [1] It contains various remixes and re-recordings of selections from Flume's second studio album Skin (2016).
Flume released his second studio album Skin in May 2016. The lead single "Never Be like You" was certified 5× Platinum and was the fourth highest-selling single in Australia and New Zealand in 2016. It was also ranked number one on the Triple J Hottest 100, 2016. The album's third single, "Say It" was certified 3× Platinum and was the twentieth highest-selling single in Australia in 2016. The album won eight ARIA Music Awards at the ARIA Music Awards of 2016, three APRA Awards at the APRA Music Awards of 2017 and one Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards. Get 'Em Girls is the second studio album by Australian recording artist Jessica Mauboy, released on 24 August 2010 by SRC Records and Universal Republic Records. Mauboy recorded the album in Los Angeles, New York City and Atlanta. She worked with various American songwriters and producers she had not worked with before, including Bangladesh, Harvey Mason Jr., Chuck Harmony, Brian Kennedy, and Alex James, among others. Musically, Get 'Em Girls contains up-tempo and ballad-oriented songs, which derive from the genres of pop, hip hop and R&B. It was released on 8 March 2011 by Ultra Records and All Around the World, on Benny Benassi's fourth studio album Electroman. The song made its first appearance on the video game Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit in November 2010, months before the song was released as a single. The single EP featured several remixes by Skrillex, Laidback Luke, Alex Gaudino & Jason Rooney, and Congo Rock. Flume is regarded as the pioneer of future bass who helped popularize the genre.
Rüfüs Du Sol, stylised as RÜFÜS DU SOL and formerly known as simply Rüfüs from 2010 to 2018, is an Australian group from Sydney, that consists of Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt. The song features vocals from Kira Divine. The song peaked at number 4 on the Australian charts and was certified platinum. Digital remixes were released on 25 November 2016 and on 26 May 2017.
