Slowly Slowly is an Australian pop punk and indie rock band from Melbourne, Victoria. The band consists of Ben Stewart (lead vocals, guitar), Patrick Murphy (drums), Albert Doan (guitar), and Alex Quayle (bass guitar). They released its debut album Chamomile in 2016.
Slowly Slowly has performed at festivals such as Beyond the Valley, [2] Splendour in the Grass, and Party In The Paddock. [3] They have also supported Red Hot Chili Peppers [4] and Amy Shark on its Australian national tours. [5]
In June 2015, Slowly Slowly released their debut single "Empty Lungs". This was followed by the singles "New York, Paris" and "PMTWGR" in 2016. The band released their debut studio album Chamomile in July 2016.
In May 2018, Slowly Slowly released their second studio album St. Leonards [6] [7] which spawned three singles; "Aliens", "Alchemy" and "Ten Leaf Clover".
In May 2019, Slowly Slowly covered "Skinny Love" by Bon Iver for Triple J's Like a Version . [8]
In January 2020, the group announced their third full-length album Race Car Blues, to be released on 28 February 2020. They released the album's title track on that same day.
On 25 January 2020, the band were announced as having placed at No. 57 in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2019, with the single "Jellyfish"; This was Slowly Slowly's first ever entry in the annual countdown.
In August 2021, the band cancelled the remainder of their Race Car Blues tour dates and said plans for the band are "on hold" due to health challenges currently being faced by frontman Ben Stewart. [9]
On 22 January 2022, the band made their second-ever appearance in the Triple J Hottest 100, 2021, with the single "Blueprint". [10] This would become the first single released for the band's fourth studio album, Daisy Chain, released on 4 November 2022. [11]

Tomas Henry Gaynor, known professionally as Allday, is an Australian rapper, singer and songwriter from Adelaide. Gaynor became active in 2011, when he began uploading his music for free online. Following his works becoming increasingly popular, he moved to Melbourne, to pursue a serious career before later relocating to Los Angeles in February 2017. His works have been influenced by acts such as Silverchair, Frank Ocean, and TLC. Gaynor released his debut album, Startup Cult, in July 2014 to Australian audiences. Startup Cult achieved success and reached number three on the ARIA Charts.
Jarryd James Klapper is an Australian singer, songwriter and record producer who performs as Jarryd James. He released his debut single "Do You Remember" on 30 January 2015, which peaked at No. 2 on the ARIA Singles Chart. His debut album, Thirty One, also reached No. 2 on the related ARIA Albums Chart. Ngaire Laun Joseph, known by her stage name Ngaiire, is a Papua New Guinea-born Australian-based R&B and future soul singer-songwriter. Her musical career commenced in 2003 with an enrollment in a bachelor of Jazz Studies at the Central Queensland University (CQU). In 2004, she competed in the second season of Australian Idol, where she competed as a semi-finalist but did not make it to the final 12 singers. Georgia Claire Flipo, known professionally as G Flip, is an Australian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Melbourne, Victoria. Their debut studio album, About Us, was released on 30 August 2019. Its follow-up, Drummer, followed almost four years later on 11 August 2023.

Kristy Lee Peters, known professionally as KLP, is an Australian singer, songwriter, record producer, DJ and radio personality from Sydney, New South Wales. Kristy was the host and presenter on Triple J's House Party program from the years 2015 to 2018.
The Teskey Brothers are an Australian blues rock band from Melbourne, named after the two brothers who formed the group in 2008: Josh Teskey and Sam Teskey. In 2019, they signed with Glassnote Records and Ivy League Records. They have released three albums: Half Mile Harvest (2017), Run Home Slow (2019) and The Winding Way (2023). At the 2019 ARIA Music Awards, The Teskey Brothers were nominated for seven awards. They won three categories for the album Run Home Slow, Best Group, Best Blues and Roots Album and Engineer of the Year.
Blake James Turnell, known professionally as Chillinit, is an Australian rapper and musician. He is from Sydney, New South Wales and released his debut studio album Women Weed & Wordplay in October 2018.
