Munyo Solomon Mutai (born 22 October 1992 in Bukwo) [1] is a Ugandan long-distance runner.
He started his career over shorter distances and at the 2009 Ugandan Championships he placed ninth over 1500 metres and fourth in the 3000 metres steeplechase. At the age of 18 years he was runner-up at the national 5000 metres, second to Moses Kipsiro. [2] His half marathon debut came in Kampala and he was runner-up behind his compatriot Nathan Ayeko with a time of 1:01:26 hours. [3] He set two personal bests at the 2013 Ugandan Championships, running 13:33.80 minutes for the 5000 m and 28:44.81 minutes for the 10,000 metres, having placed fourth at both distances. [2] He made his debut in road events at the end of the year and was in the top ten at the BOClassic and Corrida de Houilles 10K runs. [4] [5] He also won the half marathon section of the Nairobi Marathon that year.
He made his international debut for Uganda at the 2014 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships and helped Uganda to fifth in the team race by finishing 26th overall. [6] He was then selected to run the marathon at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he finished fourth. He won a silver medal at the marathon event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. [7]

Abreham Cherkos Feleke is an Ethiopian professional long-distance runner. A former track specialist, he now competes in road running events including the marathon.
Michael Kipkorir Kipyego is a Kenyan runner who competes in marathon races. He was initially a specialist in the 3000 metres steeplechase and was the 2002 World Junior Champion in the event. He represented Kenya in the steeplechase at the World Championships in 2003 and was runner-up at the 2008 African Championships. He set a personal best of 8:08.48 hours in 2009.

Tatyana Petrova Arkhipova is a Russian runner. She is a former specialist in the 3000 metres steeplechase, and won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She later moved up to marathon and won the Olympic bronze medal in that event at the 2012 London Games.
Sentayehu Ejigu Tamerat is an Ethiopian long-distance runner, who specializes in the 3000 and 5000 metres. She represented Ethiopia at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Simon Ayeko is a Ugandan distance runner who specialises in the 3000 metres steeplechase. He was the gold medallist in that event at the 2011 Military World Games. He has twice represented Uganda at both the World Championships in Athletics and the IAAF World Cross Country Championships
Stacey Chepkemboi Ndiwa is a Kenyan female long-distance runner who competes across cross country, track and road running disciplines. She was a gold medallist at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games in the 1500 metres and was a team silver medallist at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in 2015, where she was fifth individually. She was also a bronze medallist in the 1500 m at the 2011 African Junior Athletics Championships.
