South Park Mall is a shopping mall located on the southwest side of San Antonio, Texas. It serves the communities on the south side of the city, with a Hispanic theme inside it. It is anchored by Dick's Sporting Goods, JCPenney, and Macy's.

History

The mall opened in 1974. Roy L. Martin & Associates built the mall, which opened for business in 1974. Among the first tenants were J. C. Penney, TG&Y, Woolco, and H-E-B. [1]

Woolco later became Mervyns, which closed in 2008. [2] [3] It became Dick's Sporting Goods in 2014. [4] JCPenney is the other original anchor. Phar-Mor was added in 1991 as a third anchor, but it closed in 1992. [5] In 1996, Sears moved from a store on Military Drive to the former Phar-Mor. [6] Foley's (now Macy's) was added as a fourth anchor in 2000. [7] On November 7, 2019, it was announced that Sears would be closing this location a part of a plan to close 96 stores nationwide. The store permanently closed on February 16, 2020. [8] In February 2020 A group of three New York-based investors teamed up to buy South Park Mall, JLL Capital Markets confirmed.

Parkdale Mall is a mall located in Beaumont, Texas that opened in 1973. The owner of Parkdale Mall is CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. The mall's anchor stores include a Dick's Sporting Goods and Field & Stream combo Store, Dillard's, Five Below, Forever 21, HomeGoods, JCPenney, and Stage. Another anchor, Macy's, closed in March 2017. The former Macy's became a combination between the Dick's Sporting Goods and Field & Stream combo store, HomeGoods, and Five Below. KBTV-TV, the Beaumont-Port Arthur Fox affiliate, used to broadcast inside the mall, but now broadcasts at the KFDM studios. In addition, a Tilt Studio location opened in early 2017. The eighth anchor was Sears which closed on February 2, 2020. Stage shut down in 2020 when the chain went out of business.

Deerbrook Mall is mall located in the northern Houston suburb of Humble. It is at the major intersection of I-69/US 59 and FM 1960, near George Bush Intercontinental Airport. South Hill Mall is an enclosed, super-regional shopping mall located in Puyallup, Washington, United States. Opened in 1988 and expanded in 1992, the mall comprises more than 100 stores, plus a food court and movie theater, in 1,074,230 square feet (99,799 m2) of gross leasable area. The mall also includes five anchor stores, as well as DSW, Old Navy, and Regal Cinemas. The mall is managed by Cafaro Company of Youngstown, Ohio.
