Spartanburg County School District 2 is a public school district in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, US. [2] The district is led by superintendent Lance Radford and consists of fourteen schools. The district also has a maintenance and transportation department to serve the students and staff. Students in the district have access to the Swofford Career Center, a vocational school shared with Spartanburg County School District 1.

The district serves much of northeastern Spartanburg County, including all of Boiling Springs, Chesnee and Mayo, most of Valley Falls, and a portion of Southern Shops. [3]

The graduation rate for the district in 2019 was 90.5%, above the state average of 81.1% [4]

School District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties is a South Carolina school district encompassing a land area of approximately 196 square miles, (508 km2) roughly half of which is situated in each of Lexington and Richland Counties. Student enrollment is at 16,717 as of August 2005. The school district consists of the northern portion of Lexington County lying north of Lake Murray and the Saluda River and the northwestern portion of Richland County lying south of the Broad River. The School District is primarily a residential suburb located to the northwest of the city of Columbia, the capital city of South Carolina. Spartanburg County School District 7(SCSD7) is a public school district in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States. The district includes most of the city of Spartanburg, as well as all of Ben Avon, Drayton and Whitney, most of Camp Croft, and portions of Arkwright, Hilltop, and Saxon. SCSD7 is led by Superintendent Jeff Stevens, a former principal at Spartanburg High School; he assumed the role of superintendent in July 2020.
