Sparx* Studios (stylized as SPARX*) is a French-Vietnamese animation studio. Originally founded as Sparx Animation Studios in 1995, it initially worked primarily on animated feature films. In 2011, Virtuos purchased the company and reopened in Ho Chi Minh City the same year. The current incarnation of the company primarily works on animation for video games as well as VFX work for feature films.
Sparx* Animation Studios was founded in 1995 and opened in 2002, by Jean-Christophe Bernard, Guillaume Hellouin and Fabrice Giger. They worked on Rolie Polie Olie with Nelvana and which won a Daytime Emmy Award and another Gemini Award for 'Outstanding Special Class Animated Program'.
The company produced the fully computer-animated movie Igor , starring John Cusack and Molly Shannon which was released on September 19, 2008 to mixed reviews and commercial success. They also worked on the last 3 seasons of Star Wars Rebels.
The company would go on a downward spiral in later years, closing down its Paris office in 2008 [1] as well as their American and Vietnamese officies in 2010, leaving only the Shanghai offices open. In 2011, Virtuos acquired the company and reopened the Ho Chi Minh City offices the same year. [2]

Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, is the most populous city in Vietnam, with a population of around 10 million in 2023. The city's geography is defined by rivers and canals, of which the largest Saigon River is named after. As a municipality, Ho Chi Minh City consists of 16 urban districts, five rural districts, and one municipal city (sub-city). Hồ Chí Minh, colloquially known as Uncle Ho or just Uncle, and by other aliases and sobriquets, was a Vietnamese communist revolutionary, nationalist, and politician. Founded in July 1971 by Michael Hirsh, Patrick Loubert, and Clive A. Smith, it was named after Nelvana of the Northern Lights, the first Canadian national superhero, who was created by Adrian Dingle. The company's production logo is a polar bear looking at Polaris, the North Star.

Igor is a 2008 animated horror comedy film directed by Tony Leondis from a screenplay by Chris McKenna. Xilam is a French animation studio which specializes in making animated television series and feature films. Marc du Pontavice and his wife Alix founded it in 1999 as a replacement for the animation division of Gaumont Multimédia, which was itself an offshoot of the company's television division Gaumont Télévision, a company he co-founded in 1990. Gaumont continued to have a deal with Xilam until 2003. Gaumont Multimédia was a video game publisher until closing in 2004.
Bunyan and Babe is a 2017 American animated adventure comedy film directed by Louis Ross, featuring the voices of John Goodman as Paul Bunyan and Jeff Foxworthy as Babe the Blue Ox. Loosely based on the folklore of Paul Bunyan, the film is about two children exiled on their grandfather's farm in Minnesota who discover a lair where Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox have resided since their disappearance from the Dead Forest. The story sees Bunyan and Babe teaming with the two kids to stop an evil land developer from destroying a town.
