This specific epithet ‘taborans’ refers to the Mount Tabor Ashram, Zoology Research Centre, St. Stephen's College, Pathanapuram, the Headquarters of the Institution where this research was conducted. [1]

Known only from Munroe Island, Ashtamudi Estuary, Kerala, India. [1]
