Sphingomonas astaxanthinifaciens is a bacterium from the genus of Sphingomonas which has been isolated from fresh water in Misasa in Japan. [1] [3] [4] [5] Sphingomonas astaxanthinifaciens has the ability to produce astaxanthin. [5]
Oxalicibacterium faecigallinarum is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming, yellow-pigmented, oxidase and catalase positive, and oxalotrophic bacterium from the genus Oxalicibacterium and family Oxalobacteraceae.
Oxalicibacterium horti is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming, yellow-pigmented bacterium from the genus Oxalicibacterium and family Oxalobacteraceae. O. horti uses potassium oxalate as a sole carbon source. Its 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis has shown that it belongs to the order of Betaproteobacteria, most closely to Oxalicibacterium flavum.
Borrelia tanukii is a spirochete bacterium first isolated from specimens of Ixodes tanuki, hence its name.

Thermodesulforhabdus norvegica is a species of thermophilic sulfate-reducing bacteria, the type and only species of its genus. It is gram-negative, acetate-oxidizing, with type strain A8444.
Desulfovibrio bastinii is a moderately halophilic bacteria. It is sulfate-reducing, mesophilic and motile. Its type strain is SRL4225T.
Aestuariibacter aggregatus is a gram-negative, strictly aerobic, non-spore-forming, catalase- and oxidase-positive, from the genus of Aestuariibacter with a single polar flagellum which was isolated from the Yellow Sea in China.
Sphingobium francense is a hexachlorocyclohexane-degrading bacteria with type strain MTCC 6363T.
Syntrophaceticus schinkii is a species of strictly anaerobic, mesophilic, endospore-forming, syntrophic, acetate-oxidizing bacterium, the type species of its genus. Its type strain is Sp3T, which was isolated from an anaerobic filter treating wastewater in a fishmeal factory.
