Sreelatha Namboothiri (born Anjilivelil Vasantha) is an Indian actress and playback singer who works in Malayalam cinema and television. [1] She has acted in more than 300 films. Khadeeja in 1967 was her debut movie.
Sreelatha was born as Vasantha, in Karuvatta, Alappuzha. Her father Anjilivelil Balakrishnan Nair was an army officer and her mother, Kamalamma was a music teacher in Government school. [2] Her primary education was at Government Girls High School, Haripad, Alappuzha. She was an athlete while at school. She won second prize for long jump twice at state level. She joined K.P.A.C. (Kerala People's Arts Club), when she was studying in seventh grade, as a singer and later started performing drama in many stages. She could not continue her studies after that. She learned classical music from Dakshinamurthy. [3]
She was married to Kaladi Parameshwaran Namboothiri, known as Kaladi Namboothiri, [4] an actor and Ayurveda doctor in 1979. They both acted together in Papathinu Maranamilla, a 1979 movie. She took a break from movies after marriage and settled in Kunnamkulam, Thrissur. The couple has a son, Visakh, and a daughter, Ganga. [5] She made a comeback, after her husband's death in 2005, with Pathaka. She currently resides at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. [6]

Srividya, also known as Sreevidya, was an Indian actress best known for her work predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil films, along with few Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. In a career spanning for 40 years, she had acted in more than 800 films. In the latter part of her career, she concentrated on Malayalam films. In addition to acting, Srividya occasionally worked as a playback singer as well as carnatic singer. She was also a well trained Bharathanatyam dancer. Padma Shri Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, popularly known as Kaithapram, is a Malayalam lyricist, poet, music director, actor, singer, screenwriter, music therapist and performer of Carnatic music. Madanolsavam is a 1978 Indian Malayalam-language romantic drama film written and directed by N. Sankaran Nair and starring Kamal Haasan, Jayan and Zarina Wahab. Dialogues and comedy scenes were written by Thoppil Bhasi. The film was partially remade in Telugu-language as Amara Prema by T. Rama Rao with Kamal and Zarina reprising their roles from the original. The film was dubbed into Tamil as Paruva Mazhai and into Hindi as Dil Ka Sathi Dil. The film is an unofficial remake of an English movie named Lovestory (1970).

Innathe Chinthavishayam is a 2008 Indian Malayalam-language family drama film written and directed by Satyan Anthikad. The film, produced by Antony Perumbavoor through Aashirvad Cinemas, stars Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine. The film's score and songs were composed by Ilayaraja. The film is based on the scenario of increased divorces in modern-day Kerala middle class society. The film was released on 12 April 2008.

Sebastian Kunjukunju Bhagavathar was a Malayalam theatre actor, singer, and author. He is known for his contributions to Malayalam sangeetha natakam. Along with Ochira Velukutty, he was responsible for breaking the monotony of musical operas with their 1930 play Karuna, an adaptation of Kumaran Asan's famous poetic piece.
