The Sri Lanka Hockey Federation is the governing body of field hockey in Sri Lanka. It is affiliated to IHF International Hockey Federation and AHF Asian Hockey Federation. The headquarters of the federation are in Colombo. [1] [2]

Sri Lanka competed in the Round 1 of the Hockey World League for the season 2016-17 and they were knocked out of the first round claiming only 2 wins out of 6 pool matches.
