The Fiji Hockey Federation (FHF) is the governing body of field hockey in Fiji, Oceania. Its headquarters are in Suva, Fiji. It is affiliated to the International Hockey Federation (IHF) and the Oceania Hockey Federation (OCF).
Dr Robin Mitchell is the president of Hockey Association of Fiji and Mrs Valerie Finau is the general secretary. [1]

Round 1 of 2016 Men Hockey World League Round and 2016 Women Hockey World League Round was held in Suva, Fiji from 27 June to 2 July 2016. Fiji took the top spot in men's as well as women's category. Dutta Leevan scored the maximum (23) goals in men's category and Dutta Tiara took the honors in the women's (27). [2]

Erika Yamasaki is an Australian weightlifter. The daughter of Minoru Yamasaki and Ann Alvisio, she started Weightlifting in 2000, when she was tested in a talent identification program, along with her brother John Yamasaki. Erika first started to represent Australia in 2003 at the Oceania Championships, Niue Island. She has now competed at several international events, including Oceania Championships, World Championships, World Cup, Commonwealth Championships, Pacific and Commonwealth Games.

The 2014–15 Men's FIH Hockey World League Round 1 was held from June to December 2014. A total of 35 teams competing in 7 events were part in this round of the tournament playing for 15 berths in the Round 2, played from January to March 2015.

Hockey at the Pacific Games was introduced as a tournament for men's teams in 1979. Hockey was not played again until 2003 when a women's tournament was included in the schedule for Suva. At the 2015 Pacific Games in Port Moresby the format was changed from eleven-a-side to five-a-side, and both men's and women's tournaments were hosted.

New Zealand competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the 2020 Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the country's twenty-fourth appearance as an independent nation at the Summer Olympics, having made its debut at the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp and competed at every Games since. The New Zealand team consisted of 212 athletes, 112 men and 100 women, across twenty-one sports.
