St Brendan's Board GAA is one of several divisions in the Kerry GAA system. [1] It is based in the north of the county and fields teams from under-15 right up senior level.

History

At the County Board Convention in 1924 it was decided to subdivide Kerry into four divisions. North, South, East and West Kerry were the original four divisions. [2] Further divisions were established in subsequent years, with several rural clubs in the Tralee area affiliating to the St Brendan's Board. In 2021, the St Brendan's Board and Tralee Town Board merged to form just one District Board. [3]

The Kerry Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by the Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1889 for the top Gaelic football teams in the county of Kerry in Ireland.

Tralee District is a Gaelic Athletic Association Divisional Team from Tralee in County Kerry, Ireland. They won Kerry Senior Football Championship three times in a row in 1925, 1926, and 1927. The 1986 Kerry Senior Football Championship was the 86th staging of the Kerry Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889.

The 2003 Kerry Senior Football Championship was the 103rd staging of the Kerry Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889.

The 2006 Kerry Senior Football Championship was the 106th staging of the Kerry Senior Football Championship since its establishment by the Kerry County Board in 1889. The championship ran from 6 May to 12 November 2006.
