Alfred William Stanley Brice (14 November 1880 –5 May 1959) was a New Zealand cricketer who played first-class cricket for Wellington from 1903 to 1928 and played five times for New Zealand in the days before New Zealand played Test cricket. He was also an early administrator of Rugby league in New Zealand. [1]
He married Mary Silva at Sacred Heart Church in Petone on 24 April 1905. [2]
In a senior club match for Petone in Wellington in March 1918 Brice took 7 for 2 to dismiss the Returned Soldiers' Association team (who batted two short) for 8 in the second innings. He had taken 5 for 13 in the first innings,when the Returned Soldiers' Association team made 45. He took a hat-trick in each innings. [3] He set a wicket-taking record for Wellington senior cricket that season with 93 wickets at an average of 7.19. [4]
Thomas Coleman Lowry was a New Zealand international cricketer. He was New Zealand's first Test captain,and led the team in their first seven Test matches between January 1930 and August 1931. He played first-class cricket from 1918 to 1937. He was a farmer and racehorse breeder in Hawke's Bay,who served as president of the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders Association from 1951 to 1965.
John Neville Crawford was an English first-class cricketer who played mainly for Surrey County Cricket Club and South Australia. An amateur,he played as an all-rounder. As a right-handed batsman,Crawford had a reputation for scoring quickly and hitting powerful shots. He bowled medium-paced off spin and was noted for his accuracy and his ability to make the ball turn sharply from the pitch. Unusually for a first-class cricketer,Crawford wore spectacles while playing.

Damien Geoffrey Wright is an Australian cricket coach and former first-class cricketer who coached Hobart Hurricanes cricket team. Wright made his debut for Tasmania in 1997,playing with the team until switching to Victoria for the 2008–09 season. In 2002 he played in the Scottish cricket team as their one permitted overseas player—he also had previous spells in county cricket with Northamptonshire,Glamorgan and Somerset. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler. He has a side-on bowling action and an ability to bounce the ball sharply. Wright started Coaching the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League 03 in 2013–14,he coached the team to defeat the Melbourne Stars,who were undefeated in the tournament until then. The Hurricanes then lost the final to the Perth Scorchers. Wright then coached the Hurricanes to the semi-finals in the Champions League T20 2014 in India.
Timothy Grant Southee,is a New Zealand international cricketer who captains for New Zealand cricket team in all formats of the game. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and a hard-hitting lower order batsman. The third New Zealand bowler to take 300 Test wickets,he was one of the country's youngest cricketers,debuting at the age of 19 in February 2008. On his Test debut against England he took 5 wickets and made 77 off 40 balls in the second innings. He plays for Northern Districts in the Plunket Shield,Ford Trophy and Super Smash as well as Northland in the Hawke Cup. He was named as New Zealand's captain for the first T20I against West Indies in place of Kane Williamson,who was rested for that game. The Blackcaps won that match by 47 runs. Southee was a member of the New Zealand team that won the 2019–2021 ICC World Test Championship. Southee currently has the highest (international) test batting strike rate among the batsmen with a minimum of 2000 test runs. His (batting) career strike rate is 83.12. He was also a part of the New Zealand squads to finish as runners-up in two Cricket World Cup finals in 2015 and 2019.

He was also selected for two first-class matches against the Marylebone Cricket Club as part of the New Zealand hosting team in 1961.
