The Stanwood was an American automobile manufactured by the Stanwood Motor Company from 1920 until 1922 in St Louis, Missouri. [1]
Fred H. Berger was the chief engineer of the Stanwood Motor Car Company. [1] The StanwoodSix was an "assembled car" with Continental 7R six-cylinder engine. Parts advertised as fitted included Stromberg Carburetor, Westinghouse starting and lighting, Grant-Lees transmission, Borg & Beck clutch, Standard Parts rear axle, Bock roller bearings, Stewart-Warner vacuum feed fuel system, Gemmer steering gear, Atwater-Kent ignition, Perfection springs and Alemite chassis lubrication system. Offered in the first year only as a Touring car, on a 118-inch wheelbase at $2,050 (equivalent to $27,729in 2021), a roadster and closed sedan were added for 1922. Production was approximately 200 to 300 cars before closing in 1922. [4] [1]

The Union automobile was a vehicle manufactured by the Union Automobile Company from 1902 until 1905. It was designed by John William Lambert, who had developed the three-wheel Buckeye gasoline buggy in 1891. The Lambert Automobile Company developed as a 300,000-square-foot (28,000 m2) automobile factory in Anderson, Indiana. It manufactured the Lambert automobile, truck, fire engine and farm tractor as a part of the governing Buckeye Manufacturing Company. Lambert manufactured vehicles from 1905 to 1915. In 1910 the company had over a thousand employees, and from 1910 to 1915 the production had reached about three thousand vehicles per year. It went out of business in 1917 because of World War I.
Daniels Motor Company was a pioneer brass era American automobile company, founded in 1915 by George E. Daniels with Neff E. Parish. George Daniels was a known lawyer, engineer, and mechanic. He was considered the best motorcar designer in the United States. Neff Parish had his own automobile parts and framing manufacturing company. Neff was the creator of the time's highest-grade heat-treated alloy steel frames, respected in the steel industry. Daniels Motor Company produced 1,500 high-quality automobiles between 1916 and 1924, branding themselves as “the distinguished car with just a little more power than you will ever need”, and “The aristocrat of American cars”.

The company was founded in Chicago as Partin-Palmer company in 1913, but in 1915 got into financial trouble. So, in 1917, the name was changed to Commonwealth, and production was moved to Joliet, Illinois.
