State Highway 17 (SH-17) is a state highway in Bihar state. [1] It covers two major districts (Buxar district and Rohtas district) of Bihar state. This state highway starts from Chausa and ends at Sasaram.

In Bihar, it is known as the Buxar-Chausa-Sasaram road.

It starts near ICICI bank, Unnao Branch in Unnao at Uttar Pradesh, passes through Bihar, and terminates at its crossing with State Highway 10 at Kodubari Morh in Gazole at Malda district of West Bengal. The road continues as SH 10 (WB), which connects Gazole to Hili near Bangladesh Border. The highway is being made 4 lane currently between Unnao & Raebareli, between Katihar & Begusarai, between Ghazipur & Ballia, between Bakhtiyarpur & Nawada & between Mokama & Barh. 4 lane part is already operational between Raebareli & Ghazipur.

National Highway 922 is a National Highway in Bihar, India. This highway connects Mithapur in Patna with Bihta, Arrah and Buxar. The eastern end of the Purvanchal Expressway at Haydaria in Ghazipur district is around 17 km from Buxar on NH-922.

Buxar Thermal Power Plant is a coal-based thermal power plant located at Chausa village in Buxar district, Bihar, India. It was conceptualized in 2013 when SJVN signed an MoU with Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL) and Bihar Infrastructure Company (BPIC). Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for this project in March 2019. Larsen & Toubro Limited holds the contract for the construction, at an estimated cost of Rs 7,000 crores. It is scheduled to open in 2023.

State Highway 81 (SH-81) is a 83.25 Km long state highway in Bihar, India. It covers two major districts of Bihar. This state highway starts from Sakaddi near Arrah and ends at Nasriganj near Dehri-on-Sone and Daudnagar. SH-81 is also known as the Sakaddi-Sahar-Nasriganj road.
