Stephen Lillie CMG (born 4 February 1966) [1] is a British diplomat who was High Commissioner to Cyprus from 2018 to 2022.
Lillie was educated at South Wolds Comprehensive School and The Queen's College, Oxford. He joined HM Diplomatic Service in 1988 and was sent for Chinese language training at the School of Oriental and African Studies and the Chinese University of Hong Kong 1989–91. He served in Beijing 1992–96, at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) 1996–99, at Guangzhou as Consul-General 1999–2003, and in New Delhi 2003–06. He was head of the Far Eastern Department at the FCO 2006–09, then ambassador to the Philippines and also non-resident ambassador to Micronesia, the Marshall Islands and Palau 2009–13. He was Director, Asia Pacific, at the FCO 2013–17 and was then appointed to be High Commissioner to the Republic of Cyprus from April 2018. [1] [2]

Sir Geoffrey Doyne Adams served as the British Ambassador to Egypt from 2018 to 2021, as a member of the British Diplomatic Service. He was Ambassador to the Netherlands from 2013 to 2017.
Alexander Wykeham "Alex" Ellis CMG is a British civil servant, currently British High Commissioner to India. Previously, he was Deputy National Security Adviser for the Integrated Review on diplomacy, development and defence. Ellis was previously the Director General of the Department for Exiting the EU. He had previously been Britain's ambassador to Brazil from July 2013 to January 2017.
Paul Thomas Arkwright is a British diplomat who was High Commissioner to the Federal Republic of Nigeria 2015–18.
Sir Dominick John Chilcott is a British diplomat who is Ambassador to Turkey.
Asif Ahmad is a banker-turned-diplomat, having served as a Senior Civil Servant at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. From 2017 to August 2021 he was the British High Commissioner to Jamaica. He was the British Ambassador to Thailand from November 2010 until August 2012. He was the British Ambassador to the Philippines from July 2013 to 2017. He has also been accredited to the Bahamas, Palau and Laos.
Paul Damian Madden is a retired British diplomat, who was High Commissioner to Singapore and to Australia, and Ambassador to Japan between 2017 and 2021.
Dame Judith Anne Macgregor is a British diplomat who was High Commissioner to South Africa from 2013 to 2017. She previously served as Ambassador to Slovakia from 2004 to 2007, and Ambassador to Mexico from 2009 to 2013.
John James Rankin, is a British diplomat and a former ambassador to Nepal. He is the current Governor of the British Virgin Islands. He was Governor of Bermuda from December 2016 to December 2020.
Sir Stephen Jeremy Barrett is a British retired diplomat who was ambassador to Czechoslovakia and Poland.
Sir James Sebastian Lamin Wood,, usually known by his middle name Sebastian, is a British diplomat who was the Ambassador to China from 2010 to 2015, and Ambassador to Germany from 2015 to 2020.
Sir Philip Robert Barton is a British diplomat, currently the Permanent Under-Secretary of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. He was previously British High Commissioner to India; he was High Commissioner to Pakistan from 2014 to 2016.

Andrew Scott Norman Wightman is a senior British civil servant and former diplomat. Before his appointment as Director for External Affairs in the Scottish Government, Wightman was High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Singapore from 2015 to 2019, succeeding Antony Phillipson. Prior to this, Wightman was British Ambassador to South Korea between 2011 and January 2015.
