Stephen Kirwan "Steve" Agar (born 6 June 1968 in Saint George) is a retired track and field athlete who competed for Dominica and later Canada. At the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in the men's 1500 metres he finished eighth in his heat, failing to advance. In 1998 he got Canadian nationality. [1] He is the brother of swimmer Francilla Agar.

Daniel Kipngetich Komen is a Kenyan middle- and long-distance runner. Remembered for his rivalry with Haile Gebrselassie, his most notable achievements came in a two-year period between 1996 and 1998, during which he broke a string of world records.
Fermín Cacho Ruiz is a Spanish track and field athlete, winner of the gold medal in the 1500m at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and the silver medal in the 1500m at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.

Andrey Valeryevich Zadorozhniy is a Russian middle-distance runner who specializes in the 1500 metres. His sole major international medal was a bronze at the 1998 European Indoor Championships.
