Storks is a baseball and softball team based in The Hague, The Netherlands. Storks' baseball team plays in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse, the top level of baseball in the Netherlands. The club also won three consecutive Dutch softball titles, winning the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Holland Series. [1]
The club was founded with 12 members on one team in 1952. By 1956, the club was fielding three men's baseball teams and that year added its first women's softball team. Pitcher Win Remmerswaal played for the Storks in the early 1970s, before signing with the Boston Red Sox. [2] In 1975, the team moved to its current field at the Kijkduincomplex. [3] The Storks have played in the Hoofdklasse since 2018. [4]

Quick Amersfoort or BSC Quick is a baseball and softball club based in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Quick Amersfoort was established in 1961 by a group of football players looking for something to play in the summer months. The club has participated in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse since 2018. Quick Amersfoort currently numbers over 250 members and fields six youth baseball teams, three youth softball teams, three adult baseball teams, four adult men's softball teams, three adult women's softball teams, and one slow pitch team. The team plays its home games at XL Lease Park Dorrestein.
DSS/Kinheim is a baseball team in Haarlem, the Netherlands that competes in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse. The team is a combination of two Haarlem sports clubs, DSS and Kinheim, which merged in 2020 after DSS had defeated Kinheim in a promotion/relegation playoff. DSS, however, faced financial difficulties staying in the top Dutch baseball league. Kinheim had won Dutch and European titles, but the club abruptly withdrew from the Hoofdklasse in 2016 and could not return to the top league via the promotion playoff.
