Twins Oosterhout is baseball and softball club based in Oosterhout, the Netherlands. The Twins have played in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse since 2016. [1] The team plays its home games at Slotbosse Toren Park. [2]

Former Rakuten Golden Eagles pitcher Keiji Uezono played for the Twins in 2016. [3] [4] He went 4-1 with a 1.68 ERA in 59 innings pitched. [5]

In 2021 the Twins began a exchange program with the Ibaraki Astro Planets of the Baseball Challenge League. Under the program, two Japanese players from the Astro Planets roster are playing with the Twins for the 2021 season. In the future the Twins will also be able to send players and/or coaches to the Astro Planets to participate in a full Baseball Challenge League season. [6]

The Honkbal Overgangsklasse is the second highest level of professional baseball in the Netherlands. It is a twelve-team league that plays a 22-game schedule followed by two separate 15-game schedules for the best six teams and the weakest six teams, and is overseen by the KNBSB. Games are played principally on weekends. The season runs from April to August and is followed by a promotion and relegation system with the highest level of baseball in the Netherlands, the Honkbal Hoofdklasse, so that the composition of the top level may change from year to year.

Randolph F. Oduber is a professional baseball outfielder for the Hoofddorp Pioniers of the Honkbal Hoofdklasse. He played for Team Netherlands in the 2019 European Baseball Championship, and at the Africa/Europe 2020 Olympic Qualification tournament in Italy in September 2019.

Dashenko Adriano Ricardo is a Dutch-Curaçaoan professional baseball catcher for Curaçao Neptunus of the Honkbal Hoofdklasse. He played for Team Netherlands in the 2019 European Baseball Championship, and at the Africa/Europe 2020 Olympic Qualification tournament in Italy in September 2019.

Adonis Kemp is a Dutch baseball player who represented the Netherlands at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

The Hawks is a Dutch baseball club based in Dordrecht. They play their home games at Sportpark Krommedijk. The club currently has roughly 170 members.

Quick Amersfoort currently numbers over 250 members and fields 6 youth baseball teams, 3 youth softball teams, 3 adult baseball teams, 4 adult men's softball teams, 3 adult women's softball teams, and 1 slow pitch team. The team plays its home games at XL Lease Park Dorrestein.

The 2016 Honkbal Hoofdklasse season began Thursday, April 14.

The 2014 Honkbal Hoofdklasse season began Thursday, April 17.

The 2013 Honkbal Hoofdklasse season began on Thursday, April 11. Mampaey The Hawks from Dordrecht competed in the Hoofdklasse for the first time. Sparta/Feyenoord was relegated at the end of the 2012 season but was declared bankrupt by a Rotterdam court on November 22, 2012 and did not compete in the Overgangsklasse.

The 2021 Honkbal Hoofdklasse season began on Thursday, April 29.
