UVV Utrecht is a sports club based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. It was founded in 1902 in a merger between several clubs that date back to 1893. [1] [2] In 2009, the club removed its former acronym, Utrechtse Voetbal Vereniging (Utrecht Football Association), and is now known by the three letters UVV. [3] The club has teams in the following sports: football, tennis, baseball, softball, and beach volleyball.

In 2015–2016 he coached the first squads of two small town rivals, promoting both ASWH to the Saturday Derde Divisie and IFC to the Sunday Hoofdklasse. DSS/Kinheim is a baseball team in Haarlem, the Netherlands that competes in the Honkbal Hoofdklasse. The team is a combination of two Haarlem sports clubs, DSS and Kinheim, which merged in 2020 after DSS had defeated Kinheim in a promotion/relegation playoff. DSS, however, faced financial difficulties staying in the top Dutch baseball league. Kinheim had won Dutch and European titles, but the club abruptly withdrew from the Hoofdklasse in 2016 and could not return to the top league via the promotion playoff.
The 2024–25 Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, also known as the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men for sponsorship reasons, is the 52nd season of the Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, the top Dutch field hockey league. It began on 14 September 2024 and will conclude in May 2025 with the second match of the championship final.
