Strathaven RFC are a rugby union team from the south Lanarkshire town of Strathaven. Strathaven 1st XV play in the West Regional League Division 2.
Founded in 1984, Strathaven RFC play at Whiteshawgate - off Hamilton Road.
Strathaven Rugby and Strathaven Dynamo teamed up to form the Whiteshawgate 3G Sports Trust (W3ST) partnership and, in 2016, started installation of a floodlit, multi-sport, 3G, all-weather pitch. [1]
The 3G facility, installed by Malcolm Sports Surfaces, was officially opened on 24 March 2017 [2] by then Minister for Public Health, Women's Health and Sport, Aileen Campbell.
Grant Stewart started his Rugby Union career at Strathaven RFC and has since gone on to represent Scotland [3]
Hooker Grant Stewart played for Strathaven and Dalziel before moving to Glasgow Hawks and securing a place in the BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy.
Stewart represented Scotland through the age grades, being capped at U17, U18 and U19 level, as well as the Club XV side.
Stewart joined Glasgow Warriors in 2017 as a member of the Fosroc Scottish Rugby Academy, before signing his first professional contract with the Warriors in December 2018. He remains with Warriors for the 2021/22 season.
Ayr Rugby Football Club is a rugby union club. Its professional men's side currently plays as Ayrshire Bulls in the Super 6 competition; and its women's side play in the Scottish Womens National One. The club also runs a "Club XV" which competes in the Tennent's National League 1, a 2nd XV "Ayr-Millbrae", which plays in the SRU West Reserve League Division 1, and various age group teams, from age 4, up to age 18.
Craig Peter Hamilton is a Scottish international rugby union player. He is a lock and currently plays at Whitley Bay Rockcliff RFC, Northumbria University Men's 1st XV and previously for Glasgow Warriors, Border Reivers, Edinburgh Rugby and French Second Division club Tarbes Pyrénées Rugby. He also currently coaches at Whitley Bay Rockcliff RFC
Hillhead Jordanhill Rugby Football Club (HJRFC) is a Scottish rugby union club based in Glasgow, Scotland. HJRFC has roots going as far back as 1904 with the formation of the Hillhead Sports Club, however, the rugby club as we know it today was founded in 1988 with a Women's section added in 1995, they have played at their current home ground, Hughenden in the West End of Glasgow since then. Despite their name, the club is not located in either Hillhead or Jordanhill, although the pre-merger clubs did have historical links with these areas. Hughenden is located in Hyndland beside Great Western Road.
Glasgow Hutchesons Aloysians Rugby Football Club, often abbreviated to GHA and colloquially referred to as G-HA!!, is a rugby union club based in the Giffnock area of East Renfrewshire, Scotland. The club plays its home matches at Braidholm and currently competes in the Scottish National League Division One, which is the second tier of Scottish club rugby. GHA competed in the premiership from 2019/20 until the 2022/23 season which saw them being relegated to National League Division 1.
Howe of Fife RFC is a rugby union club based in Cupar, Fife, Scotland. It was founded in 1921, and they play in blue and white hoops. The men's first XV team currently competes in Scottish National League Division Three, the women's XV - known as Howe Harlequins - plays in Scottish Womens National One.

Clydebank RFC is a rugby union side based in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The club was founded in 1969. They play their home games at Dean Street in the Clydebank Community Sports Hub; a purpose built facility which opened in 2018,featuring several rugby pitches.
