Street OT is the fourth studio album by Nigerian rapper Olamide. It was released on November 14, 2014 through YBNL Nation. [3] The album is a follow-up to his 2013 Baddest Guy Ever Liveth album. [4] Preceded by the singles titled "Story For The Gods" and "Goons Mi", Street OT features guest appearances from Pasuma, Lil Kesh, Chinko Ekun, Phyno, Don Jazzy, and Reminisce. Its production was handled by Pheelz, B-Banks and Young Jonn. [5] The ideology of the title of the album is to glorify and show his love for the "streets", a word with which Olamide is synanimous with. [6]

The release of Street OT was met with mixed reactions from music critics. Hours after its release, the album peaked at the number one spot on iTunes World Albums Chart. [9] Dayo Showemimo of Nigerian Entertainment Today rated the album 3.5 out of 5, adding that “Olamide might not have come into the game with a visible business plan but he’s stayed true and loyal to his chosen genre, he’s loved by the street”. [8] In a contrasting view, Tola Sarumi of NotJustOk rated the album a low 3.5 out of 10, stating that the album “is not a pleasant aural experience, it’s a project cobbled together from leftover tracks.” [7] An editor for BellaNaija rated the album 3 out of 5 and went further to make a verdict, stating: “Street OT is not a stellar Baddo solo project but it’s a nice YBNL showcase album”. [5] Street OT was nominated in the "Album of The Year" category at the 2015 edition of the Nigeria Entertainment Awards. [10]
Street OT won Album of the Year and was nominated for Best Rap Album at The Headies 2015. It was also nominated for Album of the Year at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

Olamide Gbenga Adedeji is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record executive. He is regarded as one of the most influential artists in Nigeria and has been pivotal to the creative and commercial success of several Afrobeats music stars, and is consistently praised for his role in elevating street pop to mainstream recognition as a distinct music genre. He records in Yoruba and English. In 2011, he released his debut studio album Rapsodi while signed to Coded Tunes. YBNL, his follow-up album, was released under his label imprint "Yahoo Boy No Laptop", aka YBNL Nation. The album was supported by the singles "First of All", "Voice of the Street", "Stupid Love", and "Ilefo Illuminati". On 7 November 2013, he released his third studio album Baddest Guy Ever Liveth. The album's singles include "Durosoke" and "Yemi My Lover". On 17 July 2013, Olamide became the first Nigerian to sign an endorsement deal with Cîroc.
YBNL is the second studio album by Nigerian musician Olamide. It was released by YBNL Nation on November 12, 2012. A follow-up to his debut studio album, Rapsodi (2011), YBNL features from Kayswitch, Tiwa Savage, Dammy Krane, Davido, Kida Kudz, and Reminisce and Base One, among others. Baba Hafusa is a studio album by Nigerian rap act Reminisce which was released through EDGE Records on 30 April 2015. It is the rapper's third overall studio album after releasing Book of Rap Stories in 2012 and Alaga Ibile in 2013. The studio album which features guest appearances from SoJay, Vector, Ice Prince, Olamide, Phyno, Sossick and Sean Tizzle was according to Reminisce a way of paying tribute to his daughter named Hafusa.

Wizkid won the most awards while Olamide received the most nominations with three across 39 award categories.
