Sugar is a studio album and official first major release by South Korean duo 15&, It was released on May 26, 2014 by JYP Entertainment with the song of the same name serving as the lead track for the album. [1] [2] The album consists of ten tracks which also includes three tracks that have been previously released since 2012. [3]
In early April 2014, they released their third single, "Can't Hide It". On April 13, 2014, they made their comeback stage on K-pop Star 3 finale with "Can't Hide It." [4] It was also revealed that their first album was scheduled to be released in May 2014. [4] On May 26, 2014, the album was released digitally and physically along with the music video of their lead single on YouTube.

Alive is the fifth Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, released through YG Entertainment on February 29, 2012. Musically, it is a dance and electronic record that incorporates elements of hip hop and R&B. BigBang members G-Dragon and T.O.P wrote and produced the lyrics and music for nearly all tracks on the album. Alive spawned three digital singles that were released within the week prior—"Blue", "Fantastic Baby", and "Bad Boy", all three of which peaked within the top three positions on the Gaon Digital Chart.
100% (Korean: 백퍼센트) was a South Korean boy band formed by Shinhwa's Andy Lee under TOP Media in 2012. The group debuted in September 2012 with their single "We, 100%". The group consisted a total of seven members: Minwoo, Rockhyun, Jonghwan, Chanyong, Changbum, Hyukjin and Sanghoon. Throughout their career, Sanghoon took time off from the group since 2014, Changbum departed from the group in 2016 while Minwoo died in March 2018 due to cardiac arrest. The group disbanded on October 9, 2021 after the members' contracts expired.
15& was a South Korean duo formed by JYP Entertainment in 2012. The duo consisted of Park Ji-min and Baek Ye-rin. The name refers to fifteen being their age at debut, with the ampersand meaning they can continue to have success into the future. They released their debut single "I Dream" on October 5, 2012. Following a four-year hiatus which began in February 2015, the group de facto disbanded upon the expiration of both members' contracts with JYP Entertainment in 2019.

"Catallena" (Korean: 까탈레나) is a song by South Korean girl group Orange Caramel. The song was written and produced by both Igy and Seo Yong-bae. It was released for digital download and streaming as the group's third Korean-language single and their sixth overall on 12 March 2014 by Pledis Entertainment and Kakao M. Musically, the song is a hybrid of pop, Italo disco and hi-NRG styles, containing elements of '70s and '80s. It interpolates a sample of Punjabi folk song "Jutti Meri" in the chorus. The lyrics find Orange Caramel being enticed by a "Catallena" woman.
Pink Blossom is the fourth EP by South Korean girl group Apink, released on March 31, 2014. Group leader, Chorong, wrote two songs for the album. The music video for title track "Mr. Chu", composed by Duble Sidekick, was released on March 31 along with the album. The song peaked at number 2 on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100. Apink won six music show trophies for "Mr. Chu" and the song was the eighth best selling digital song in 2014, according to Gaon's year-end chart. They released the music video for "Crystal" on June 14. Pink Blossom was the second best selling album of the week of its release on the Gaon Weekly chart and charted at #31 on the 2014 Gaon Annual Album chart with 66,139 copies sold, becoming the fourth best selling girl group album of the year.
