JYP Entertainment is a South Korean entertainment company established in 1997 by J. Y. Park. The company operates as a record label, talent agency, music production company, event management and concert production company, and music publishing house. It is currently one of the largest entertainment companies in South Korea. [1]
The label is home to K-pop artists such as J. Y. Park, 2PM, Day6, Twice, Stray Kids, Boy Story, Itzy, NiziU, Xdinary Heroes, and Nmixx. The label's former artists include Rain, g.o.d, Wonder Girls, 2AM, Miss A, Baek A-yeon, 15&, Got7 and Bernard Park.

Wonder Girls (Korean: 원더걸스) was a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group debuted in February 2007 with the single "Irony" and 5 members: Yeeun, Sunye, Sunmi, Hyuna, and Sohee. After Hyuna's departure in July, Yubin was added into the group prior to the release of their debut studio album, The Wonder Years (2007). The album spawned the hit single "Tell Me", which topped various South Korean music charts.
Park Jin-young, also known by his stage names J. Y. Park and The Asiansoul or the initials JYP, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, record producer, record executive, and reality television show judge. Park rose to stardom as a singer following the release of his 1994 debut album, Blue City. In 1997, he became the founder of JYP Entertainment, one of the most profitable entertainment agencies in South Korea.
"Tell Me" is a song by South Korean girl group Wonder Girls, from their debut album The Wonder Years (2007). It was released as the lead single from the album on September 13, 2007, by JYP Entertainment. Written and produced by Park Jin-young, the song samples Stacey Q's "Two of Hearts" (1986) written by John Mitchell. "Tell Me ", which features Yubin's self-written rap verse, was added as a B-side to their second CD single "So Hot" in May 2008.
"Nobody" is a song by South Korean girl group Wonder Girls, taken from their first extended play The Wonder Years: Trilogy (2008). It was written and produced by Park Jin-young, with additional songwriting by Rhee Woo-seok. Musically, "Nobody" is retro-inspired dance-pop song that lyrically conveys the affections the members' have towards their lovers. The song was first released in South Korea on September 22, 2008 by JYP Entertainment, and was re-released in English on June 26, 2009, where it was included in their next EP 2 Different Tears (2010). A Japanese version of the song was included on their debut Japanese EP, Nobody for Everybody (2012).
2AM is a South Korean boy band, that consists of Jo Kwon, Lee Chang-min, Lim Seul-ong, and Jeong Jin-woon. The band was formed by JYP Entertainment through the Mnet documentary Hot Blood, which spawned the eleven-member boy band One Day; 2AM primarily perform ballad songs while their brother group 2PM performed more dance-focused music. With the addition of Changmin from Big Hit Entertainment, now known as Big Hit Music, the group was co-managed by JYP and Big Hit from 2008 to 2014. They officially debuted on July 11, 2008, on KBS' Music Bank, performing their debut single "This Song". The group also debuted in Japan with the single "Never Let You Go: Shindemo Hanasanai" in January 2012.
Min Sun-ye, known professionally as Sunye, is a South Korean singer and missionary known for her work as a former leader and main vocalist of girl group Wonder Girls. In early 2013, following her marriage, she became an inactive member of the Wonder Girls and officially departed from the group in July 2015.

Park Ye-eun, professionally known as Yeeun, Yenny, or Ha:tfelt, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and composer known for her work as a former member of South Korean girl group Wonder Girls. In July 2014, she made her debut as solo artist under the name Ha:tfelt with released her solo EP Me?. In early 2017, Wonder Girls officially disbanded due to contract expiration. Following the disbandment, Yeeun signed with Amoeba Culture to continue her career as solo artist.
Kim Yu-bin, referred to as Yubin, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and actress. Kim is a founder and CEO of the entertainment agency RRR Entertainment. She initially rose to fame as a member of South Korean girl group Wonder Girls, formed in 2007 by JYP and active with the group until disbanded in 2017. She made her solo debut in 2018 with the single "Lady", and has continued to release music ever since.
Woo Hye-rim, known professionally as Hyerim or Lim, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and songwriter known for her work as a former member of South Korean girl group Wonder Girls.
Lee Sun-mi, known mononymously as Sunmi, is a South Korean singer, dancer, songwriter and record producer. She debuted in 2007 as a member of South Korean girl group Wonder Girls and left the group in 2010 to pursue her studies. After a three-year hiatus, Sunmi resumed her career as a soloist with her 2013 debut extended play, Full Moon, spawning the number two singles "24 Hours" and "Full Moon" on the national Gaon Digital Chart.
Baek Ye-rin, anglicized as Yerin Baek, is a South Korean singer-songwriter. A former member of South Korean duo 15&, she debuted as a solo artist with her extended play, Frank, in 2015. Baek is credited with writing and composition for the majority of her songs, often touching on personal topics and real-life experiences. In addition to her solo career, she is also the lead vocalist and guitarist for the South Korean rock band The Volunteers and has been performing with them since 2018.

#Twice is the first Japanese compilation album by South Korean girl group Twice. It is a compilation album consisting of both Korean and Japanese-language versions of the group's first five singles. It was released on June 28, 2017, by Warner Music Japan.
Park Jae-hyung, known professionally as eaJ (제이), is an Argentine-born American singer, songwriter, and former member of the South Korean rock band Day6. He gained early recognition by competing in the first season of K-pop Star in 2012, where he finished in sixth place before signing with JYP Entertainment. Park debuted as the lead guitarist and vocalist of Day6 in September 2015 and was with the group until his departure in December 2021.
"Thunderous" is a song recorded by South Korean boy band Stray Kids. It was released as the second track of their second studio album Noeasy, and serves as its lead single on August 23, 2021, through JYP Entertainment, and distributed by Dreamus. Written by 3Racha, a production team from members of Stray Kids and HotSauce, the song is described as a hip hop, and trap song with the elements of Korean traditional music (gugak), and brass instruments, expresses the firm belief that they will not be discouraged and keep to their principles no matter what anyone says. The Japanese version of "Thunderous", titled "Sorikun" (ソリクン), was released on October 13, 2021, together with "Scars" as a double A-side single, through Epic Records Japan.
Nmixx is a South Korean girl group formed by SQU4D, a sub-label of JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of six members: Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin. Originally a seven-piece group, Jinni departed from the lineup on December 9, 2022, for personal reasons. They debuted on February 22, 2022, with the single album Ad Mare.
