#Twice4 (Hashtag Twice4) [1] is the fourth Japanese compilation album released by South Korean girl group Twice. The album consists of Japanese and Korean versions of "I Can't Stop Me", "Cry for Me", "Alcohol-Free", and "Scientist". It was released on March 16, 2022, under Warner Music Japan.

Background and release

On January 31, 2022, JYP Entertainment announced in an official statement that Twice's fourth best album was set to be released on March 16. [2] The Japanese version of "Scientist" was released as a promotional single for the album, on March 2, 2022. [3]

The compilation album was officially released on March 16, 2022. [4] The digital and streaming version of #Twice4 was released in EP format, only containing Japanese-language tracks. [5]

Commercial performance

Following its release, #Twice4 debuted atop the Oricon Albums Chart, becoming the group's eighth number-one album on the chart. Twice became the first foreign female artist to achieve the feat. [6] The album also peaked at number-one on the Billboard Japan Hot Albums. [7]

<i>Twice2</i> Album by Twice

#Twice2 is the second Japanese compilation album by South Korean girl group Twice. It consists of both Korean and Japanese versions of "Likey", "Heart Shaker", "What Is Love?", "Dance the Night Away" and "Yes or Yes". It was released by Warner Music Japan on March 6, 2019.

Chinese boy band and the fourth overall sub-unit of the South Korean boy band NCT, WayV, has released one studio albums, one reissue, three extended plays (EP), one single album, and nine singles with SM Entertainment's Chinese sub-label, Label V. WayV debuted in 2019 with the single album The Vision, with a Chinese version of NCT 127's "Regular" as the lead single. In the same year, the group entered the Billboard World Albums chart for the first time with their first EP, Take Off. Their second EP, Take Over the Moon, was released on October 29, 2019, and debuted in the South Korean Gaon Album Chart and Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. In 2020, WayV's first studio album, Awaken the World, managed to enter the top ten on both Gaon and Billboard World Albums chart as well as became the group's first entry on the Japanese Oricon and Billboard Japan charts. Kill This Love is the second Korean-language extended play by South Korean girl group Blackpink, released on April 5, 2019, by YG Entertainment and distributed through YG Plus and Interscope Records. It is their first Korean material since the release of Square Up in June 2018, and their debut release with Interscope Records. The title track was released as the lead single. The single peaked at number two in South Korea and became the group's first top-50 hit in the United States and the United Kingdom. The song "Don't Know What To Do" was later promoted in Korean music programs as the EP's sub-title track.

SKZ2020 is the first compilation album by South Korean boy band Stray Kids. It was released on March 18, 2020, through Epic Records Japan, and JYP Entertainment, as the group's Japanese debut release. One Last Kiss is an extended play by Japanese musician Hikaru Utada, which was released in the US on March 9, 2021. It was released for promotion of the Japanese animated film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time around the time of the film's release. It contains all the previously released theme songs that were made for the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. It also contains the theme song "One Last Kiss", which was co-produced by A. G. Cook and released in conjunction with the film on March 10, 2021.

The Book is the debut extended play (EP) and first physical release recorded by Yoasobi. <i>The Book 2</i> 2021 EP by Yoasobi

The Book 2 is the second Japanese-language extended play (EP) and third overall by Japanese duo Yoasobi. It was released on December 1, 2021, through Sony Music Entertainment Japan, eleven months after their debut EP The Book (2021). It consists of eight tracks, preceded by their all singles released in 2021, and included the new song "Moshi mo Inochi ga Egaketara". In support of the EP, the duo held their first face-to-face concert Nice to Meet You on December 4–5 at Nippon Budokan. Commercially, The Book 2 debuted at number two on the Oricon Albums Chart, and atop Billboard Japan Hot Albums and certified gold by Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

The EP marks their first release since their disbandment in 2016, their first to feature Nicole and Jiyoung since their departure in 2014, and their first to be released following the death of member Hara in November 2019. A Japanese version of the album released on December 21.
