Sujeeth Reddy is an Indian film director and screen-writer. [1] [2] He made his directorial debut in Telugu Cinema with the romantic comedy thriller film Run Raja Run at the age of 23 years. [3] He received SIIMA Award for Best Debut Director (Telugu) in 2015 for the film Run Raja Run . [4]

Early life

Sujeeth started creating short films at the age of 17. He holds a film degree from the LV Prasad Film & TV Academy in Chennai and has created over 30 short films. [3] [4] In an interview Sujeeth stated that "I actually came into the film industry to work as an assistant director under Puri Jagannadh. But Puri suggested that why you can film yourself". [5]

Sujeeth got another opportunity to do an expensive film in the UV Creation banner. He developed a solid story for Prabhas. Prabhas accepted to do the film after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion completed. The film titled Saaho was shot simultaneously in Telugu & Hindi.

In March 2018 the film Pre-production began. Sujeeth took various cast and crew from Bollywood. Another interview Sujeeth stated that "After receiving a high positive review of Saaho from the North Indian audience, Shah Rukh Khan called me to him once".
