Sukhman Sodhi, known professionally as Sukha, is a Canadian rapper, singer and songwriter associated with Punjabi music.

Early life

Sukhman Sodhi was born in Toronto, Ontario into a Punjabi Sikh family from Nawanshahr in Punjab, India, which he mentioned in his song "Regions' from his debut album By Any Means.[ citation needed ]

Career

Sodhi records under the name Sukha. His tracks have appeared on the UK Asian, [1] and UK Punjabi lists by OCC. His single ‘8 Asle’ with Gurlez Akhtar charted on Canadian Hot 100 charts. [2]

Awards

Sukha received two Juno Award nominations at the Juno Awards of 2025, for Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year and Album of the Year for his 2023 EP Undisputed. [3] [4]
