Sumarreheide (Dutch : Suameerderheide) is a hamlet in Tytsjerksteradiel in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands.
Sumarreheide is not a statistical entity, [2] and the postal authorities have placed it under Sumar. [1] The hamlet has place name signs. [3]
The hamlet was first mentioned around 1700 as Heyd Huysen, and become Suameerderheide in the 20th century. [3] The inhabitants of the hamlet used to live in sod houses. In 1916, ten stone houses were built. [4]

All the houses are situated along the street Terstraten, which runs from the neighboring hamlet Brand via a hollow way towards the Maastrichterweg. In between the houses is a little square with a Christian cross underneath a tree. The houses in Terstraten are officially preserved heritage.
