Sunnidale Park

Sunnidale Park is the largest urban municipal park in Barrie, Ontario. It is surrounded by Sunnidale Road, Cundles Rd W, Coulter St, and Highway 400. The park was previously a golf course.^[1] The park is home to a large arboretum,^[2]^[3] the Dorian Parker Centre, and it also hosts a community garden.^[4]

Madison Street, beyond which is the Washington Park neighborhood, on the east by 37th Avenue E., beyond which is the Madison Park neighborhood, and on the north by Union Bay marshland. Washington Park is a public park in Seattle, Washington, United States, most of which is taken up by the Washington Park Arboretum, a joint project of the University of Washington, the Seattle Parks and Recreation, and the nonprofit Arboretum Foundation. Washington Park also includes a playfield and the Seattle Japanese Garden in its southwest corner. To the north is Union Bay; to the west are Montlake and Madison Valley; to the south is the Washington Park neighborhood; and to the east is the Broadmoor Golf Club.

Kuhnert Arboretum is a 19-acre (7.7 ha) arboretum and nature area located at the corner of Melgaard Road and Dakota Street South, Aberdeen, South Dakota. The arboretum contains deciduous, coniferous, and ornamental trees, as well as large shrubs. The Arboretum is also home to a 9-hole disc golf course of easy difficulty level. The course is lined by two roads, Moccasin Creek, and an open field.

Hoyt Arboretum is a public park in Portland, Oregon, which is part of the complex of parks collectively known as Washington Park. The 189-acre (76 ha) arboretum is located atop a ridge in the Tualatin Mountains two miles (3.2 km) west of downtown Portland. Hoyt has 12 miles of hiking trails, two miles of accessible paved trails, and is open free to the public all year. About 350,000 visitors per year visit the arboretum.

Memorial Park, a municipal park in Houston, Texas, is one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Opened 99 years ago in 1924, the park covers approximately 1,466 acres (5.9 km²) mostly inside the 610 Loop, across from the neighborhood of Memorial. Memorial Drive runs through the park, heading east to downtown Houston and west to the 610 Loop. A small portion of land west of the 610 Loop bordered by Woodway Drive and Buffalo Bayou is also part of the park. I-10/U.S. 90 borders the park to the north. The park was originally designed by landscape architects Hare & Hare of Kansas City, Missouri. In 2016, the operation of the park was transitioned from the Houston Parks and Recreation Department to the Memorial Park Conservancy, a private non-profit organization with a mission to "restore, preserve and enhance Memorial Park."

Innisdale Secondary School is a public secondary school that is located in the south end of Barrie, Ontario, Canada. It is the largest high school in Simcoe County. It was founded in 1978. The principal is Brian MacIsaac.

Renziehausen Park Rose Garden and Arboretum is a city park with rose garden and arboretum located on Eden Park Boulevard off Walnut Street, in the Pittsburgh suburb of McKeesport, Pennsylvania. It is open to the public daily without charge.

Barrie Community Sports Complex is a multi use sports facility located in Minesing, Ontario, Canada. Vintage Throne Stadium is the baseball park at the complex and is home to the Barrie Baycats of the Intercounty Baseball League.

Laurel Valley Golf Club is a golf club located just south of the Pittsburgh suburb of Ligonier, Pennsylvania. Designed by Dick Wilson and renovated by Arnold Palmer, the Laurel Valley golf course opened in 1959. Since its opening, the club has hosted two notable tournaments: the 1965 PGA Championship and the 1975 Ryder Cup. Some other tournaments played there include the 1989 U.S. Senior Open, the 2001 Marconi Pennsylvania Classic and the 2005 Senior PGA Championship.

Duck Creek Park and Golf Course is located on the east side of Davenport, Iowa, United States. The property was originally a private arboretum south of Duck Creek. It was developed in the 1930s as a public works project during the Great Depression. The 211-acre (0.85 km²) park features picnic shelters, tennis courts, playground, a public golf course and Duck Creek Lodge. The Stampe Lilac Garden and Gazebo is a popular location for weddings. The park connects with the Duck Creek Parkway.

Bruce's Mill Conservation Area (BMCA) is a conservation area located off Stouffville Road in the town of Whitchurch–Stouffville, Regional Municipality of York, Canada. The conservation area is about 108 hectares in size. BMCA is home to a diverse ecosystem, including 1.2 hectares of wetlands and 44 hectares of deciduous, coniferous and mixed forest. It is owned and managed by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA).
