Suomen Robinson 2004, was the first season of the Finnish version of Expedition Robinson, or Survivor as it is referred to in some countries and it premiered on 25 January 2004 and concluded on 2 May 2004. [1] The show adapted many elements from the original Swedish version of the show such as the use of green and yellow for tribe colors, but instead of the typical North and South teams, there were the Sribuat and Sembilang tribes. During the early portion of the program the Sribuat tribe proved to be the stronger of the two as they won four of the six immunity challenges. When the two ribes merged into the Tengah tribe, the former members of quickly turned against each other as Heidi Moilanen, Ingmar Sirén, and Johanna Ullakko joined forces with Gun Sundqvist, Jarmo Hänninen, and Marjaana Valkeinen to form a powerful six person alliance. When it came time for the final four the contestants competed in a challenge in order to determine who would be the final two. Ultimately, it was Marjaana Valkeinen who won the season over Johanna Ullakko by a 5-3 jury vote to be crowned Robinson 2004 and win €40,000. [2] [3]

Suomen Robinson 2005 was the second season of the Finnish version of Expedition Robinson—or Survivor, as it is referred to in some countries—and premiered on September 18, 2005, and concluded December 12, 2005. Immediately upon arriving to the island the contestants were forced to compete in two challenges in order to determine who would be eliminated. The two contestants, Elena Sinkevitch and Mari Jalonen, were both sent to a secret island. As a major twist this season, during the pre-merge portion of the game when a contestant was voted out they would move to a secret island where they would compete against two other contestants to remain in the game. The two contestants left on the secret island following the final duel, Elena Sinkevitch and Markku Markkanen, joined the other members of the merge tribe. The contestants were then divided up into two tribes known as "Goal" and "Texas". When it came time for the final four, the contestants took part in the infamous "plank" competition in which Jasna Preselj was eliminated and Markku Markkanen advanced to the final two. The other two contestants then took part in one more challenge in which Mira Jantunen won and advanced to the final two while Elena Sinkevitch was eliminated. The final two then took part in a duel which Mira Jantunen won and earned an extra jury vote for herself. Along with this, Mira also won the audience's jury vote. Ultimately, it was Mira Jantunen who won this season over Markku Markkanen by a unanimous jury vote of 11-0 to win €40,000.
Survivor: Odisejev Otok is the first season of the Croatian version of the Swedish show Expedition Robinson, or Survivor and it aired 2005. Having been influenced by the success of the Croatian version of Big Brother, channel HRT decided to launch a Croatian version of Survivor which aired from May 12, 2005 to July 7, 2005. An immediate twist this season was that each tribe was forced to take part in an elimination challenge on day one of the competition. As Ivan Krželj of the "Ammos" tribe and Ana Marija Bojko of the "Petros" tribe lost the challenge they were both eliminated from the competition. Throughout the rest of the pre-merge portion of the competition the tribes battled for a majority when the merge arrived. As many of them were considered weak by their tribes, most of the women were eliminated during this portion of the competition. When the merge arrived, the two tribes became one known as "Zoi" and the former original members of Ammos found themselves out numbered six to four. Due to this, all of the former members of Ammos, with the exception of Silvija Zelko, were almost immediately eliminated. When it came time for the final four, the contestants competed in two challenges in order to determine the final two. As the winner of the first challenge, Vazmenko Pervanu chose to eliminate the only non-former Petros member Silvija Zelko. Kristina Sesar, Vazmenko Pervanu, and Vedran Rubrik Šehić were then forced to compete in a second challenge which Vedran Rubrik Šehić won and chose to eliminate Kristina Sesar, who many considered to be the villain of the season. Unlike most versions of Survivor, the public, not the jury, chose the winner and despite the fact that Vedran Rubrik Šehić won the jury vote by a margin of 4-3, it was Vazmenko Pervanu who won this season with a public vote of 68.23% to Vedran Rubrik Šehić's 31.77%.
